Boxing News was suggesting Munyai is fighting Napa!

Had a read through Boxing News in the shops and mentioned it in the Haskins and Munyai report.

Terrible match, he will get destroyed, far too small.

didnt jim watt mention this as a possible matchup in the commentary of napa`s fight with delroy spencer on tv recently.
i agree with boxingchat on this one, munyai`s just waay to big and strong.

Think he mentioned Napa vs Booth.

I heard about Napa V Munyail...poor matchup. How can the smaller Napa hope to outbox the huge Munyai and it's not like he has a punchers chance either!

Especially when Munyai has a 7inch height advantage too!

How tall exactly is Munyai? I was told 6" which is hard to believe but Adam Smith said 5'9 during the Haskins bout.

Napa will get destroyed if this happens.

Is Kelly the only Brit who can beat Munyai!

Kelly's much more experianced though and has been on the world level. Munyai is a 12 fight commonwealth level fight. So how would Munyai be favoured?

I think Nappa has two P's as he has it spelt like that on his trunks, unless I am mistaken.

No its one P, he usually has the word DAPPA on his trunks I believe.

I don't think Kelly would beat Munyai. Great boxer that Kelly is I think his lack of power and tendancy to bust up coupled with Munyai's accurate punching, size and great workrate would make the South African a big favourite imo.

But Kelly fell badly short on the world level, Pacheco spanked him. Whereas Munyai is excellent for a 21 year old & can only get better. I think Damean will stay away from lanky punchers with wicked body attacks.

I don't think Kelly did badly vs Pacheco.... who is/was a fine champion. I had the fight even at the time of the stoppage.

However, I agree with what your saying re Munyai..... at this moment I'd probably favour Kelly but there is this 11/12 year age gap and Munyai is the bigger man naturally.

As a Kelly fan, I wouldn't like to see him fight Munyai - its a backward step (and a massive risk) and he cannot afford to take any backward steps at this stage in his career.

Defend a world title vs Munyai, but don't fight him before you've had the title fight.
