Witter isn't fighting Hopkins

I asked a question on his myspace and he posted back on mine saying he isn't in a position to fight this year.
Shame but lets hope he gets a name in his next fight.
Kudos for him for writing back to someone on myspace.

Yeah fair play to him, was looking forward to him fighting Hopkins too, would have been a tidy first defence for Witter.

I wonder why he cant fight again this year? Injury perhaps?
He should get busy he's wasted a lot of time in the last couple of years.

There is still a possibility of Witter fighting again this year ... there is a possible date in December that is still being discussed.
With regards to the Demetrius Hopkins fight ... that was turned down with the primary reason of having only 5 weeks to prepare for the fight!!!
I am told only last night .. Team Witters attitude is that they will fight anywhere and anyone ... their attitude is if you are good enough you will be prepared to travel!!!
