.... among the three major ones?
My choice is the Britforum, and I spend considerable time in all three places. Most of the time you don't even notice that the moderators are here and yet there are no cmcajor hickups; this is how it should be. Not that the other moderators are bad -- this wouldn't be such a popular place if the mods would mess it up -- but you're better.
Good job, folks.

All three are well moderated in my opinion.

Never really go on the Current scene, but agree both the brit and boxers of the past forums are very well run. Boxbuzz has been a great addition to the moderators of the BOTP forum.

this forum seems to be very well moderated, good moderators are inconspicuous in their actions, fair in their intent and silent in their self proclaim.

The problem with the Yank forum is that its full of Yanks!
There's just so many idiots over there it staggers belief. Everybody wants to post a new thread on the same subject. Half of them dont have a grasp of English grammer and cannot spell. Get into a debate with one of these morons and expect the first counter reply to contain profanities about your mother!

Clearly the Brit forum.
The Boxers of the Past forum is chaotically moderated by some wanker called Barry Deskins who thinks his opinion is the only valid one and gets way too personal with posters and uses/abuses his position to force his point of view.

Mostly when general forums are considered silly or sometimes stupid on forums I go on, it's always nearly because of US members!

The Brit forum also has the quality posts of Boxingchat ripping into promotors.

VERY MUCH a matter of perspective....
Btw, in terms of substance and discussion culture I rank the "Boxers of the Past" forum above both the Brit and the Current fourm. But this thread is about moderating, and imo the guys here are doing a great job.

How can you rate a forum that has Barry as it's moderater above this one?

Did you read what I wrote? In terms of moderating this forum comes first -- to acknowledge this I opened this thread -- but in terms of substance the boxers of the past forum.
Btw, as regards boxing knowledge you could learn a lot from barry, my dear friend.

I can;t read posts by people who are American or love Danish people who are unified champions.
Nah, this forum has quality substance.
Nah, Barry moans too much about champs being only paper ones because they don't hold the big 3 and thinks a shot Roy would beat Calzaghe, enough said.

Whoopsie...but I'm sure most of the CS posters don't know the phrase "hoist by one's own petard" either, so you're probably safe. ;)

I rarely visit this forum...I was just going through bladders posts to see if there was any threads of his in the Boxers of hte Past forum that needed to be deleted and noticed him whining over here!! Bladder...I just keep idiotic clowns like you at bay on the forum I moderate (Boxers of the Past) and I delete any nonsense that you and others like you try to post...I guess that is why you came over here to this forum to whine and cry...cause it wouldn't make it on my forum!!!

Well, Maxy, I love it when people like you whine and cry because of me...it just makes my day

But pertaining to boxing, people like you might like the fact that boxing is dying out due to 100 title holders in 100 different divisions, but I would prefer that there be one champ per division...nuff' said!
It's kind of like all of those parents that were whining and crying for dodge ball to be banned from school gym classes because they're kids couldn't hack it...that's the way of boxing nowadays...untalented bums can win a "world" title with relative ease, so fighters like Joe Calzaghe prosper by defending some lame, bogus trinket belt against the weakest opposition available and people like you think he is the greatest thing to come along since toilet paper, when in reality he is nothing more than a moderately solid fighter who has prospered for his entire career in one of the lame jr. divisions that were developed so fighters like him could have a chance to call themselves champion and greatly diminish what the term of "champion" really means! Thats why people will never take you seriously and why people like me...well...we correct the errors made by people like you!

Thank you pundit...and before you two whiners (Max and bladder) start whining about pundit... he and I have went head to head several times, so he is not really someone that I would expect to really stick up for me, but then again he has something that you two will never have...class...but then again he is also a grown up about it and moves on to more important things, but guys like little Maxy and Bladder just whine and cry like an old hound dog with mange over and over and over again and being that I don't let that shit by on the Boxers of the Past forum, they bring they're crying routine to other forums trying to diminish the quality of other forums, why, because they know I will delete any of they're nonsense as fast as they can write it!!!
You two are obviously still hurting from being exposed, or from being just ruled in boxing knowledge, it's been so long ago I have no idea what it was, yet you simply cannot get over it...what's it been...a year, two years since I said anything to either of you? That's just sad, but I get a chuckle...maybe you can join up and start another round of..."Barry needs to be banned from moderator." I just love hearing you guys express yourself!

in that way...especially when at the end of your rants when you look up at the moderators...my name is still there!!!
Also...it's not going to do you two any good to try to start one of your usual flame wars...I have said all I needed to in defending myself and I'm not going to go on and on with you clowns as I have better things to do...it's funny though...when I have something to say to someone I let them know about it...I don't run off to some other place to bad talk someone...who does that...whats the term I'm trying to think of...childish losers, or cowards...both I'd say!!!

Took ye long enough.
Don't see it dying it regardless of belt holders unless it's just in America. Wheres the facts?
It's supposed to be the best thing since sliced bread not toilet paper so I corrected one error there Mr People like me.
I see hardly any whining and moaning in my posts, we don't all obsess over you like you make out. :P
As for Godzaghe, he seems to be ditching his IBF belt and you say belts don't mean nothing.

PMSL.
Getting over something years ago yet you can;t remember it?
I never say anyone needs to be banned.
I don't have any flame wars, more disagreements over opinions.
I don't run anywhere, I stay in the Brit forum mostly as it gets boring to post in the others although I put the odd post in the current or past forum.
No one obsesses over you as much as you make out.

Baz, who was the guy who started up Boxing News in 1909? ........ I keep asking on "Boxers of the Past" aka "your forum"

....... but you keep deleting the question because you can't answer it and you're being exposed.
C'mon Baz ...... I'm trying to learn from you ..... don't let me down.
Hey Baz ..... time to say ...... "you obviously sit down to pee".

It was John Murray...too bad you didn't know...then your rant might have had some validity...plus it must be real embarressing to have a Yank tell you the name of one of your own countrymen from a publication in your country...and I thought you were sad before!!! You really need to learn the difference when someone says I cannot recall and realize that it is different from someone saying...I don't know...maybe then you wouldn't make such a idiot of youself...LOL.
