Anyone think PBF-Baldomir is going to be much of a fight? I think Mayweather will spank him and probably win a shutout.
Not sure of the undercard but I doubt I will even stay up for it, just review in the morning.

PBF-Baldomir looks like a nailed on UD, but if Baldomir can pace the fight well and come on strong down the finish then who knows?

Just a chance to watch PBF showcase his skills once again in a routine fight. Baldmir has NO chance of course, and Floyd wins as he likes, as sure as the sun rises tomorrow.

Well stranger things have happened at sea. Of course I make Mayweather a big favourite, but Baldomir is a big rugged chap, and the first nig, genuine career welterweight that Mayweather will have faced.

Baldomir hasn't got the workrate to make this interesting (by that I mean a close fighting, watching someone with Floyd's skill is always interesting imo).

Lucky for Mayweather this one is being fought on dry land, Mayweather UD.
Baldomir will keep trying but lets not forget even in beating Gatti he was often being beaten to the punch in the early going and was taking shots to land his own. He will be taking a lot more against Mayweather and landing far less of his own in return.

I think PBF wins a clear decision BUT you nver know in boxing. Maybe Baldomir can walk through everything PBF throws and push him on the ropes, working his bodyt over and getting the odd shot threw as he throws combinations. Hes not going to outslick him obviously but he can maybe outmuscle and push PBF back. Baldomir has a tight defense himself, amazing chin, high workrate, welterweight punch and underated boxing skills.

I was thinking that earlier, ofcourse I favour PBF by decision quite confidently but I can see something like that happening, should Baldomir land a few big shots clean though it'll be interesting to see how Floyd reacts.
You can take Floyd by decision at 5-7

Mayweather should be able to beat a rhythmic tatoo on Baldomir's big old noggin but the natural size advantage and innate toughness of the argie should see him thru to the final bell.
I dont think Carlos has the ability of a Castillo to exert intelligent pressure on the self styled Pretty One but Floyd is always worth watching, no matter the foe.

The one thing Mayweather has going for him, is his incredible fitness, he works so hard in the gym, so unlike Judah, if down the stretch he feels Baldomir putting him under pressure, he's like to have the fitness to eke out a decision fairly comfortably provided he doesn't start catching some big ones.
I think perhaps that Baldomir is being a little underrated, given his recent form however.

Conversely, perhaps its a case of his recent results flattering him some what?..
An under motivated Judah and a well shop worn Gatti.
Who knows? I hope he gives PBF a tough time, I wanna see him under the kosh a bit for once.
I wont wait up to see this one, but will watch it 'as live' on Sunday morning.

I would be inclined to agree, full credit to Baldomir for what he has achieved but Judah was complacent and Gatti was a human punchbag. I expect Floyd to box to a comfortable and repetetive 12 round win. Baldomir doesn't posess any serious power to trouble Mayweather which is a big disadvantage for him.

Whatever the outcome of the fight.... I think Floyd deserves some credit for fighting him. He got absolutely lambasted for the Judah fight - which was signed before Baldomir upset him.
Baldomir should be considered the #1 Welterweight, and it will surely show the critics he is prepared to take on the number #1 ranked fighter in his weight.
People have been (deservedly IMO) critical of his claim for the #1 in the weight when he only beat Gatti at a Light Welter and thus far Judah as a Welterweight.... Now he is fighting and beating the #1 and doing at a time when Baldomir's stock is at its highest.

Sorry to sound rude croydon, that is not my intention, but this is hardly a "good matchup" Ivlark knows the odds for a Baldo win, and you,d have more chance of bedding the worlds most beautiful woman than him winning.

Well there are still question marks over Floyd fighting a genuine Welter and Baldomir is big at the weight. Although I expect Floyd to win I don't think he'll have it all his own way.
