Yeah I think that guy fighting Patterson in his pro debut was quite hyped at the time, he was an Olympian who boasted he could win the world title in his first fight.

A bit like Audley saying he could win the British title by his 5th fight (a tad less ambitious) but it sounds like Rademacher at least had balls.

Conversely he ended up employing Patterson for a short time.

He did actually floor Patterson in the 2nd round! He must have been some fighter, with a proper pro career probably would really have been a name all boxing fans knew of even now.
