I see on Seconds Out that the little rant from Roy Hilder in Boxing News seems to have ruined the chances of Jackson Asiku from fighting in Coventry in December. How come Jackson signed the contract if they are claiming they knew nothing about it, sounds a bit fishy to me. Maybe they just wanted to try and blackmail Houston into giving more money with him thinking that they might scupper the show and take the Nicky Cook fight, seems like Houston wouldn't take the shit and has dropped Jackson from the show.

Only a couple of losers here, Jackson and the boxing fans as politics gets involved again!, I hear Jackson was getting good money too.

There is a piece in Boxing News about this as well, Hilder claims he and Asiku's other representitive new nothing about Asiku's involvement in the Coventry bill.

They knew about the fight. I’ve been told that the deal they asked for and got was a bloody good one for them and their boxer. The fight had been sanctioned by the BBBoC, see their crap website under notices for details of the fight, do you really believe Hilder or Luyaata or whatever his name is knew nothing, pull the other one. Maybe it has something to do with the chance of a fight at the Excel on the 9th December if a certain Scotsman pulls out of the fight. People on here are saying Jackson doesn’t get enough fights and now his management team have lost him another defence of his title and probably an easy defence if so people are to be believed.....
