I thought Sergi whatshisface looked pretty decent against Brewster, thought he would handle Briggs easily although I must confess to not having seen Briggs fight for years, probably since Lennox so have no idea if he is any better now.

Briggs won with 1 second remaining, if Liakhovich had got up even with the 2 knockdowns he would have saved the title with a draw.

Briggs as heavyweight champion (though I predicted the KO in PTBF) is surely the leading edge of the fvcking apocalypse.

Rains of blood can only be nanoseconds away; I saw as it were a sea of glass mingled with fire, and a great big steroid-bloated pineapple-headed chinny bloke who nearly got flattened by Frans Botha (FRANS FVCKING BOTHA!!!) & got soundly pasted by Jameel Decline (!!!) is now a claimant to lineal HW champ.

Should cheer up Stacey over on the Current Scene though...

If Warren's really interested in getting Skelton a belt, then Briggs is the one to go for.

I watched it again yesterday, my bro wanted to watch it since he heard it was a HW title fight, and for some reason he loves HW title fights, even though I had to point out which guy was Briggs, serious.

Definetly catch the last round on youtube, it was a crap fight but the end was pure crazy. Don King said to Jim Grey "it was a great fight with a Hollywood finish"

Also if you can, watch the post fight interview with Briggs and Grey. Briggs is a funny guy

You don't see KO's like that in the lighter divisions.

Briggs occasionally hurt Lewis, but was too limited to capitalise.

I haven't seen SB fight in years though. I'm guessing he's shot?

Not shot just pumped up to the max on something, he was 268 for this fight, 40lbs or so heavier than he was when he fought Lewis and its all muscle basically. He just has near zero stamina.

It was incredible how he neglected to cover up during the Lewis onslaught.

No, but he was up to a solid 280 at one point. You'd be hard pushed to gain 60lbs of muscle without assistance particularly if you're boxing training.

Could it be his asthma that does it or does that just make his stamina gone quicker?

Well done Max for remember the Asthma.... he said that was the reason for his first defeat. Funny he never mentioned it before.

He used asthma as an excuse for losing to Darroll Wilson. I don't think its asthma I think its pretty obvious he's more interested in pumping iron than roadwork. And carrying around all that muscle will drain your stamina reserves pretty quickly.
