Skelton is limited, but he'll keep Harrison honest and wont give him any time off. I can't see Audley doing anything but getting outworked and bullied all night long. Skelton probably wont stop him, but Audley will need to improve dramatically (on any past performance) to stand any chance.

Can Harrison mentally and physically cope with the heat (even if it's uneducated at times) that Skelton will put on him? I have my doubts.

Williams was trapped in the corner totally defenceless and Audley did absolutely jack. I can't get that image out of my head.

I think if Skelton pressures Audley early, and he probably will. He'll have Harrison in his shell by no time, just ready to be stopped.

I actually had a breif moment after hearing what happend in the states and the quality of the fight that maybe just maybe Harrison can turn it around.

Then I just watched the Williams fight again.... he's really not very good. Even though alot of his problems are mental, he has physical problems too (Chin, punch power). Granted his stamina issues and even his mental issues can be worked on (if a sport psychologist is implented... hey Aud ), but his chin and power are two aspects that are hard to improve.

Skelton's not great, but I don't give Audley much of a chance. He hasn't the chin or the punch power to win.

stu: I wouldn't say Audley can't punch; in fact, I reckon he's got a pretty decent left.

Harrison's always reminded me of Lennox Lewis in his amateur days.

I think its an absolute disgrace to try and compare him with Lewis. Lewis won Olympic gold in a really strong competition, beating Bowe in the final. Harrison won gold in a weak competition. Lewis' amateur record pissed all over Harrisons with was average besides the olympic win.

You have to give harrison Kudos for taking this fight, he could retire but decided to have one last pop at proving himself and taking on the world. I respect that in a fighter don't you.

I used to be a big harrison fan and he was one of the factors which brought boxing back on to TV which you have to respect. I question him now because he has had trouble against good (but not great opponents). If he beats Skelton it will be hard not to like him again because he will have been successful in beating the odds.

Why do people give Harrison a chance? He conned the BBC. Took our TV licensing money. I said even when he won the Olympic gold that Harrison was crap. I can’t believe there are still people supporting the guy. He wouldn’t last two rounds with Wlad. Or any decent boxer for that matter.

It's not going to be 3rd time lucky for Harrison. I wonder if there’s still going to be people supporting him when he loses again. His career should have been over when an un-fit Danny Williams beat him.

THis is my point a coward don't keep comming back for more.

In terms of making a good living from the sport Audley deserves begrudging respect. He really cashed in on that Gold medal big time. But in terms of what he has achieved so far in his pro career he deserves all the criticism that has been thrown his way on this forum. If he turns up and puts in a big winning display against Skelton then people will change their views overnight. But I for one will not be holding my breath.

No he really really (two time) is hungry this time. Which is more than just one (time) hungry which he was last time when he stunk the place out.

Just like Danny Williams really really really is in the best shape of his life then turns up a stone heavier than he ever has.

Of course Harrison is no Lewis. I was only comparing their physicality.

Audley at times has looked like a young Lennox, he obviously doesn't have the same skills.

I agree it's stupid to compare Audley to Lewis,but to suggest that Audley had an average amateur career outside of the olympic gold is ludicrous.
2 Time ABA champ,commonwealth gold medal and a record of 45+ wins with only 8 defeats.
That is a bit better than average mate.

Anyway,let's hope he comes to fight.He is either going to meet Skelton head on or fold.

Well if Audley fails here, then I dont see any where he can go.

I still maintain he has some very nice attributes for a big guy, and theory wise at least, he should have more than enough to see off a come forward slugger like Skelton.

As we know from past experiences, Audley has flattered to deceive - We'll know after the first round if Audley has learned anything.
