Kevin Anderson returns Friday.

Seems like Kevin Anderson is pushing a quick warm up before his long awaited clash with Ali Nuunbembe. He is fighting the well traveled, fairly decent Journeyman, Rafal Jackiewicz.
A well known fighter on these shores (having lost decisions to Bami and Jennings). Jackiewicz is on a decent run and can even call himself a world champion of sorts. He made the first defence of his IBC title last time out. He hasn't lost since a close (so I would say contovesial) decision out in Italy against an undefeated home town fighter.
His last defeat since then was vs Bami.

Why couldn't he defend his belts?

He couldn't have a title defence cause there was no TV dates left I heard, they squeezed him on the show on friday for an 8 round warm up. Looking forward to the Numbembe fight though, think Kev will be too strong for Ali, and will KO him in the fist half of the fight.

Look forward to seeing Anderson again - he proved his mettle to me against Young Mutley.
I think he has the beating of Ali too when they meet.

Nice one Terry!

It's good to see Ando has maybe picked up some fans down south since the Mut fight. Funny thing is Mut probably picked up a few scots fans that night as well. Agree that Kev will be too much for Ali, looking forward to it.

Steve Conway is in a 6 rounder also.... christ he is being mis managed. He should the mandatory for the British title given his exploits this past year.... not fighting risky 6 rounders.

How do you see Anderson handle Maggee? He's mandatory too if he comes back.

I think if Kev fights the right fight it will be a relatively easy night for him. The way I see it Magees legs have gone, especially since he was assaulted, if Kev keeps on his toes he will wear Magee down and stop him. What do you think??

Pts win for Kev maybe.
Dunno how much Maggee has left and he has experiance.
