Anyone fancy Hunter to cause an upset?

Molitor looks to skillful for me, Hunter will have to start fast and keep it up if he's to have a chance.

Got to be Molitor on points for me

can't even see odds for this one - talk about low profile!

Hunter might even be slight favorite - home ground & a pressure cooker atmosphere. Plus Steve doesn't seem to have the big punch to hold him off for a long 12 rounds.

Anywhere else, and Molitor is the favorite: great boxer.

He should win you'd think, but Hunter could prove a nightmare for him.

Hunter's fitness and relentless style added to Molitor's lack of power means the local is always in the fight. However Molitor i am told is in supreme condition after training for months (for South African fight too) so i back his class to tell over 12 rounds and win on points.

I reckon this could be a great fight. Molitor has to start a clear favourite, but Hunter's workrate and heart will make it competitive enough to be a good spectacle.

Yeah , i've had a hunt around and can't find any of the internet sites taking bets for this one.

Is the first one of the big 3 title fight that Hearns promoted other than Eubank's WBO days?

it'll be interesting to see how hunter reacts to molitor's power. he was decked a few times from pickering and he's no huge puncher either.

hunter is fighting at home and probably won't have a better chance at claiming a world title.

molitor to just have a little too much class for him though. :(

Hunter is announced as favorite here, i will post more details soon when i find them out. But Hunter is favorite

The question I have, is Steve Molitor better than Esham Pickering ???

Although Molitor and Pickering don't have exactly the same style they both use movement to out speed and out wit opponents. I think Molitor is better than Esham and may have that bit extra that Hunter can't subdue this time.

I lean towards Molitor .

good point. For me , it's been the manner of victory....looks like he has several more gears to move up and just seems so unflappable, which will be a very important quality to have against a whirling-dervish like Hunter.

If Hunter gets past the first 3 rounds ok I see him winning a close/controversial decision in what could be the fight of the year... nice mix of styles...

It's being shown on Sky so Skybet will probably offer odds on it. They don't usually put the odds up till the Thursday before the fight, but they're usually worth waiting for.

I only saw Molitor once, but I don't remember being particularly impressed at all.

This one's up in the air IMO.

Well the last paragraph worked for Tszyu's inactivity anyway.

Just seems that because Hunter's limited you guys favour against him so easily.

More I think about this fight, more I am tending to go with Silkov's prediction.

:) I rate Hunter highly, razor.

But this Molitor guy looks a very high quality operator who might just be able to defuse Hunter's aggression. We'll soon see.

If Hunter is favorite at good odds, Molitor is defintely worth a bet. Looked a real class operator taking apart Booth.

I do rate Hunter, and i'm sure he'll be in the fight all the way, but i see it that Molitor will land the better more accurate punches in the rounds.
So it will be a points win for Molitor by a long way, but Hunter still in the fight.

Nah razor, it's on tv and a hell of long way. I was tempted to go to some of Dave Garside's off-tv shows a while back though. They sounded like excellent small hall shows. I don't tend to go to the tv shows much.

I'll be rooting for Hunter though, you can't fail to get my respect after winning : Area title, British title, EBU and Commonwealth then challenge for genuine title
