Woods vs. Calzaghe.

Woods is more probable. When Froch wins a world title the fight could be made. Joe will hand the torch to Froch in a year or two. If Joe loses to Taylor these fights can be made.

I'd prefer to see Calzage v Froch

As for what would be the better fight.... I'd say that Calzaghe v Woods would have more excitement though.

I'd like to see Froch v Calzaghe. Think Joe would be too much for Carl at this stage though I'm a big Cobra fan.

However as there is a chance JC could get beat and it wouldn't make him £1m plus, forget it.

Yes, it's a shame it will never happen. Though Froch isn't I think experienced enough for Calzaghe, he'd give it a go.

I think Joe is a cut above Froch, and throws far too many shots for Froch to fight at that measured pace and potshot, but with the power of that right hand he would always have a chance.

I was impressed with Froch when he let his hands go last night, and you have to say his frustrating style seems to work for him in presenting him opportunities, but I'd like to see how he fares in an eliminator against an experienced and ambitious opponent with the technical ability to punish Froch's sometimes sloppy work.

However, that said, Froch is exciting, ambitious and out to make a statement, and for that he has to be applauded. He may have a big gob, but he's prepared to back it all up, and that's fair enough.

Woods v Calzaghe.

Calzaghe would be far, far to much for Froch at this stage. Just too much movement, and too much hand speed. I could quite easily envisage Joe moving into range, getting off a couple, and then stepping back out of range. Froch would be game, there's no doubt about that, but Calzaghe is far too sharp for him.

Woods on the other hand would be very competitive I feel. Bigger than Joe, just as experienced, and on a roll (not that Froch isn't, I suppose).

I don't think that either will happen, but Woods is the man I'd love to see Calzaghe face.

Remember though that people thought Lacy had a chance with his punch and he landed a big one that didn't even stun Calzaghe.

Froch would suit Lacy though I reckon, he's not quick and his open defence could suit Jeff.

I'd prefer Woods, although I wouldn't complain if Calzaghe fought Froch to teh him a lesson. A defeat would teach Froch.

Froch/Calzaghe. Woods is overrated and I think Calzaghe would box him to bits. For that matter if Froch moved to 175 I think he'd beat Woods too.

Froch is a counterpuncher though unlike Lacy, and he does have a very awkward style. Calzaghe is pretty wide too when he is punching, against Lacy he made sure he used more straight punches and angles.

I'd fancy Froch to at least test Calzaghe's whiskers at some point, especially if Calzaghe came out roaring to take him out.

I think Calazaghe would spank Froch, but the Clinton Woods fight would be more 50/50. So I'll go with Woods.
