There was a right hand that Hamed took from Alicea that would have KO'd an elephant. He went down but got straight back up :o

He had a pretty decent chin. His balance was just so awkward that sometimes he'd be flying around and give the impression that the punch he got hit with was more effective than it really was. As much as I didn't like his attitude, what I wouldn't give to see a fit Hamed come back and fight the likes of Valero, Pacquiao, Guzman, Barrios, etc.

That's very true many people eem to only remember Naz at his worst, but the dude could fight, especially in the early days before he got rich and lost his desire.

I think because his persona was so annoying, Barrara's win over him has been elivated to the level of a Calzaghe Lacy type beat down, where in actual fact Barrara simply beat him to the jab all night in a pretty boring fight.

Quite right. It amazes me the amount of people who think Barrera put this major beatdown on Hamed. As you stated he out jabbed him and waited on him all night.

Hamed cleaned out the featherweight division and should have been undisputed champ if not for the sanctioning bodies. Not bad for someone that seemed such a wanker :D

Sorry , I could never get past the annoying personality , and just wanted him to get a beating every fight .

Similarly , I can't see Hatton as anything but an annoying Ginga Manc .
