Ok it looks like the rematch nobody wanted is going to happen so lets bite the bullet and pick our winner.

I might favour Harrison slightly, because he's trained for Skelton. Also, Danny has nothing left to gain from a win. He'll come in doing his obese Patterson impression no doubt. Williams I mean.

Y'know I remember the time when he was genuinely talented, the pre-Kipling era. Exceedingly heavy is all you can say now.
Has to be said I'm looking forward to Calzaghe vs. Manfredo though. And Khan vs. TBA should offer up some fireworks as well.

I'm looking forward to an all action match-up. This fight, if it goes the distance, could produce almost 100 shots thrown.

I presumed that we'd all have enough sense to ignore this subject entirely, just like the time we heard our parents doing the horizontal waltz back when we were just little nippers. I really thought that we could all pretend that it isn't happening, repress the memory, and then sit in a circle ten years on, drinking weak sugary tea, and talking about how the first meeting of these two heavy-weight sappers of joy led us to consume excess quantities of Carlsberg Special Brew, have sex in a grotty club's least appealing toilet cubicle with whatever low-grade hussy we could find, provoke the largest muscle-bound bouncer available, and wake up in the local A&E with an ancient po-faced hag resetting a badly broken nose with limited success.

Audley wins by wide decision. Williams goes from being on a verge of another world title shot to losing two rematches in a year in fights he won at the first attempt.

Williams isnt known for his work ethic in training so what happens when he steps in at a weeks notice?
A fat Williams loses by wide decision in a boring fight.

Scales will dictate. Danny is better than Audley but will have to be faster than the first Skelton fight to win.

Danny in the shape he was in last time they fought, or the shape he was in for Skelton (the second time)... then Audley will run his way to victory.

Whats the betting that if Audley beats Danny, they will have a rubber match.

Not the fight we were expecting but for last minute replacements its pretty good. Opinion based on Williams being capable to move properly!

Audley should win. The guy has been humiliated by his two losses, and now having geared up for the toughest fight of his career he has Williams. He knows he can beat the fat boy if he just does SOMETHING.

Audley will get some redemption here, stopping even a fat Williams is a decent result.

Maybe I'm being suicidally optimistic, but I think it will be. Surely. Pleeeeease. Harrison HAS to show a bit of backbone. Has to. He's admitted he was shit against Kipling. Blamed the Guinn performance on still feeling the effects of the Williams disappointment. He simply has to show a bit of action otherwise he will be ridiculed into an early grave. Williams' likewise has to show something after the disastererous performance against Skelton. I guess we'll find out what his weight's like at the end of the week. Williams will probably go for the KO kind of like the second Skelton fight, but if his weight's anything like it has been, then he won't have the mobility or workrate to do it.

Yes. Under the 2006 SN constitution, all winners of domestic heavyweight match-ups are guaranteed a shot at a world title. Unless of course they're actually offered one, in which case it's turned down.

Think about it,an ex olympic gold medallist who says all the right things and looks the part....and the biggest plus he has going for him=he actually poses ZERO threat to the current beltholders!!!!

I HOPE the fight is scored a double knockout in the first 30 seconds of the fight.

The best thing Harrison and Williams could do is speak to each other before the fight and agree to have a tear up.

They owe it to boxing, they've both made good money out of the sport and then shamed it last year.

So I say to Audley get on the blower to Williams and agree to just kick off from the first minute.

With their shocking stamina levels it wouldn't last 2 rounds but would go some way to undoing the damage they did to domestic boxing.

People presume Harrison will lay it all on the line in this one and he may go into the ring with that intention but once the action starts and the leather starts coming his way my bet is he'll revert to type and box negatively.

Exactly. He's had enough opportunities to prove himself but he always manages to fvck em up. If he actually put his heart into fighting I think he could make light work of an overweight Danny Williams.

This fight's not worth a prediction but I'll say a draw.

Contravercial though it sounds I have a good feeling about this one I recon Harrison will win and win in style. He can't loose again and continue his carrer he also knows that if he wins ugly it won't help so he should come in looking to make a statement.

Harrison has some of the attributes needed to win this thing. Speed, Accuracy, Size etc he seems to lack Power his heart cant be too bad as after going down to danny he got back up and fought hard for 3 rounds that takes guts when you know the other guy can hurt you.

I cant decide on who to vote for on this one.I would be lying if I selected "I dont care"option.
One thing for sure,as weak as the devision currently is, I dont believe any of these two will enhance the image of British HW boxing! :(

Call me pessimistic, but I am going for yet another hug-fest over 12 rounds, with Harrison getting the win on points, so we can get a rivetting rubber match.

I think it will be interesting to see how the ITV Boxing team will try and hype this fight? Or maybe they will just ignore it and concentrate on Harrison & Khan?
