Okay here's the rule(s) you have to examine all the boxers and decide who (in your opinion are the worst) on the list...
You MUST add the following points total to the according boxers...
-5 points (the worst boxer)
-4 points (the 2nd worst boxer)
-3 points (the 3rd worst boxer)
-2 points (the 4th worst boxer)
-1 point (the 5th worst boxer)
+ 1 point (the 3rd best boxer)
+ 2 points (the 2nd best boxer)
+ 3 points (THE BEST BOXER)
YOU MAY BEGIN NOW!
10 Muhammad Ali
10 Joe Louis
10 Rocky Marciano
10 George Foreman
10 Joe Frazier
10 Jack Dempsey
10 Jack Johnson
10 Larry Holmes
10 Mike Tyson
10 Sonny Liston
10 Lennox Lewis
10 Gene Tunney
10 Max Schmeling
10 Jersey Joe Walcott
10 Ezzard Charles
10 Max Baer
10 Ken Norton
10 Evander Holyfield
10 Floyd Patterson
10 Billy Conn

I for one can't rank boxers 1 through to whatever,
because every system of rating has it's flaws, only when we include the 4 "objective" pionts that I mentioned on another thread is it a more "fair" & accurate ranking...
of these fighters I can tell you who the bottom two are:
Lennox Lewis
Floyd Paterson

Conn's NOT a HW, but a far better fighter/boxer than LL and p4p a true great...LL in my opinion Doesn't Rate..!

If I understand this system, I am in agreement for the most part with Pundit. I'm not sure where he rates Holyfield; I guess would have him at +1. Of couse I wouldn't have Schmeling at +1, but we have already argued about Schmeling enough.
Overall, pretty good ratings.

It seems an odd choice to include Billy Conn at all. Top 5 light heavy but not on many people's all time hw lists

Yep, I'd rather have put Jim Jeffries or Jack Sharkey there. Anyway, seems Conn will be out soon anyway.

Certainly Jeff must have been an oversight.

Holyfield is the third best heavyweight AT for you? Are you serious?
