Im going for Harrison to get rid of cookie mid rounds, although as the preview says, how can you safely say harrison will win when you take into account his personal problems and mentality going into the fight. Its all very well spending the 4 weeks in the run up to the fight training hard and doing tv interviews from the gym, but what of the 6,8,18 weeks before that?

Harrison to win on heart and experience.

When this fight was annouced it was 70/30 in favour of a Harrison win, after the recent troubles of Harrison i'd say this fight is now 50/50.

Cook has done the right thing and not let any of Harrisons troubles interrupt his training, he's primed for Saturday, and has the skills to cause an upset. Cook works the body well , and thats been a bit of a weekness of Harrisons.

I'm still going for Harrison to win though, either a late stoppage or a narrow points win

I really hope Cook folds him in half with a body shot just for daring to put himself and Willie Pep in the same sentence in the build up to this fight.

The Overhanded One says Cooks scrapes it by a close decision.

I say there's still time for Cook to get injured, and/or the pair of them to come in overweight. So I'm holding fire on a prediction just yet.

I hope Harrison folds Cook in half with a body shot for all the bitching he's done. If Scott is anywhere near 80% he will tear the cocky kid a new one. Cook says he'll be too fast for him, Brodie said the same and we know what happened there. Harrison is a strong wee bugger, rugged as they come, I hope he KOS Cook cause I dont like guys who spout off a load of sh*t like Cook has.

That old,finished version of Brodie gave Harrison a lesson until he caught up with him.The younger version would have outpointed Harrison IMO.

Anyway back to the fight...I got a feeling Harrison,despite all his recent trouble will pull this one out of the bag.He,as you say,is as tough as they come,and I got a feeling he will stop Cook mid to late.

I fear for the winner of this fight either way.Is'nt Marquez up next???

Marqeuz wouldn't have it that easy against Harrison from the clips I've seen, he doesn't look like the classy counter puncher he;s made out to be?

Definately, Harrison has done well to get as far as he has on his heart and toughness, but the guy just can't use the jab. At world level, even if you're a pressure fighter, you have to jab or a guy like Marquez will beat the piss out of you.

cook late on for me.i think he'll take over from a fading harrison from halfway.

A close fight but in the end a fairly comfortable (by three or four rounds) decision for Cook.

Harrison comes forward in straight lines like a robot, he didn't used to but seems to have got into that mode since the McCullough fight and just tries to overpower opponents by walking through them. Marquez would have a field day against him no doubt about that.

Get a tape of him KO'ing Medina (which was about a year before Medina beat Harrison), drawing with Pac or even beating on Victor Polo (and he floored Polo, something supposed wrecking machine Harrison failed to do).

Straight up I've rarely seen a better text book counterpuncher since Ricardo Lopez knocked out Saman Sorjaturong.

If you've only seen him against Jaca then you may be in for a surprise -- I think he's desperate to convince HBO to put him in a big fight, hence the Macho stuff in his last couple.

He shut out Salido (who just beat -- speed consumption aside -- Guerrerro) -- Orlando could not lay a glove on him all night long.

Even if Marquez is fifty per cent of what he was, he's got too much for either of these boys.

As to Saturday's fight: fook knows. I don't think Cook's strong enough to hold Harrison off -- never experience pressure at high class like this; but is Harrison gonna turn up in the right frame of mind? Can't miss TV...

I hear talks that he's slowed down a bit as well so he could well play into Harrison's strength.

Whoever can impose their body shots most wins. Harrison is susceptable to body shots, but Cook is untested at this level. Nicky won't have encountered strength like Harrison's before IMO.
