I can see why Khan...

... hasn't been put in with a puncher. Wide open for right hands. Someone needs to tell him to keep his hands up, chin down and stop try to be so flashy all the time.

First question, what the fvck is he wearing!

Yeah defense isn't great. The knockdown was a flash so I wouldn't be too concerned about that. Doesn't seem as though he has much power to hurt his opponent, although it appeared from the beginning that he was happy enough to get the rounds in.

Comparing Khans opponent to Miguel Cotto on ITV??? WTF is that about.

I don't think Khan expected this Frenchman to be so durable. Khan has thrown some good body shots. Agree he needs to keep his hands up.

Just rewound it... he said he looks like Cotto "facially"...!

He hasn't ironed out any of his flaws from when he started as a pro. Sad to see.

Khan was terrible against a terrible fighter. No wonder he's been put into fights with people with 0 KO's.
Khan is hyped rubbish. When he fights someone with a half decent punch Khan will be finished.

Khan got drilled at least half a dozen times in that fight. Any power and he'd of been in serious trouble. Hopefully he'll put world title ambitions on hold until he improves his defence. Good hand speed and stamina though.

If he were 27 and in his 25th fight I might be inclined to agree... but he's not.

Who was Khan fighting? An absolute bum with 10 fights and 3 loss's none of the wins by KO. He even got a knock down on Khan.
And don't give me that age crap. Mike Tyson won the WBC heavyweight title at the age of 20 years and 4 months.

AGREE, Khan is hyped to sh!t, anyone that thinks this guy is going to be all that then get the videos of Nazeem Hameds first few fights.
I see Khan getting sparked clean out.

Manny Pacquiao was getting KO'd by the 'absolute bum' Rustico Torrecampo (11-4-4) in his 12th pro fight. I guess he should've given up too, eh?

How the fornicate is Khan supposed to progress under Oliver Harrison?? What the fornicate can this guy teach him? His technique has actually regressed since the amatuers, he is developing new bad habits every time I see him.
The only reason Khan trains with Harrison is because its conveniently close to home. Khan is his prize puppy. Harrison can't be too harsh on him or he will get sacked! He'll tell Khan everything he wants to hear. His footwork was terrible tonight. He kept falling off balance. He will NEVER win a world title while he is in this comfort zone. Its leave or lose for Khan, time to find a real trainer and teacher.

How anyone can write off a 20 year old NOVICE pro is beyond me. Sure he has his faults, but its not like there's no time to work on them...

I'm just going by Khans own words. He thinks he'll be ready for a world title fight in 5 fights time. He needs to improve massively to even stand a chance.

I liked Khan's performance tonight.
He showboated less and kept his guard up more even though his guard was low at times and he did some showboating.

The only relevant point is this, is he progressing, learning and improving?
I, very sadly, think not.

I do agree, thought he looked good (for the reasons Max said) early on. He seemed to be pacing it well.
However, his defence is leaky and throws too wide shots. I also was gasping everytime he took a shot, I don't know why but his chin doesn't give me confidence.
However, I still think progressing or not he will go pretty far in the pro ranks. I think he is BY FAR our best prospect, still.

At the same age who had improved most and gave you the most confidence Khan or Hatton. For me Hatton by a mile

Fenech won the world title in his 7th fight and he was younger than Khan, There's no need for a silver medalist to be babied through the pro's, He should be fighting a lot tougher fighters than he is .
