Hi, I pm'ed a poster, I got an email message saying I had a pm, I looked - NO PM, no ordinarilly I'd assume a spammer pm'ed me and got deleted. BUT I wondered if any posters have been deleted as the person I communicated with was getting into argie-bargy in 1 of the threads that was locked? So I wonder if anyoen from those threads got banned? Anyone else had the same thing - if so its probably spam.

This happens when the person sending the PM deletes it from their outbox before you have chance to read it. The sentbox contains mail that has been sent and read.

There was a spam bot which deleted spam posts but it isn't running at the moment, (not for months luckily)
