Just saw a thread from Warrior Boxing (amateur site) and the sad news that Gary Barker, younger brother of pro Darren and talented Repton amateur passed away at the weekend. He was a great little boxer with a very big future. Condolences to Darren & the rest of the Barker family.
RIP.

Gary attended The Prince Regent, Chigwell on Saturday night with his family. As always giving his support to his old team mates from Repton ABC.
The Barkers family loss is a terrible tragedy, Gary was true credit to his family, sport and club and was certainly destined for a bright future.
We will all miss Gary dearly our thoughts are with his family at this very sad time.

That's tragic news. Like his brother, Gary was talented and had bucket loads to offer the sport. A tragic loss.
Condolences to the Barker family.
