"Irish" Mickey Ward's full name

Does anyone know "Irish" Micky Ward's full name?
Isn't Ward, Dick Ecklund's brother? I know Ecklund worked his corner.
Didn't Ecklund fight under a different name than "Ward" because he originally didn't want his mother finding out that he was boxing? And didn't his mother end up managing Ecklund's career at one stage?
I have Ecklund's fight against Sugar Ray Leonard and he gives Leonard a decent scrap with the crowd right behind the local boy Ecklund but in the end he takes a bit of a beating from Leonard who was just too fast & skillful.
