I agree with tomato can, but as you can tell by my username, I'm extremely biased. Saad vs. anybody made for an incredible fight.

Saad never fought well against a fighter who could outmuscle him in tight, he was a warrior in the center of the ring. Galindez was far too strong for Saad and owns him by the middle rounds. Saad stopped in 8 without any idea how to get off the ropes with the bullish Argentine wailing on him.

In 75 I saw Galindez's handiwork up close in Las Vegas vs a guy named Elson I think. Galindez was a machine.

I like Saad, But I would lean to Galindez based on my butt being in the seat that day and what I witnessed from about the 5th row.

Galindez left an indelible impression on this member of the audience.

Galindez was a really skilled counter puncher, I'm not sure laying on the ropes against Saad is the best strategy and Victor always did that for long stretches. It could go either way, I'll take a bloody Saad to get off the deck early and score a late stoppage.

I don't know about that. Galindez typically fought a more conservative type fight depending on who he was up against. Against a fine technician like Richie Kates, who lacked the explosive punching power to get the respect of Galindez, the swarming strategy was ideal to take Kates out of his comfort zone. That's also the reason he used it in spurts throughout his fight with Gregory. While a big puncher, Gregory himself was a very laid back, methodical boxer-puncher. Galindez knew of his power, which is why he fought that type of fight. He'd box, counter, and swarm when the situation opened itself up. He didn't commit fully to that kind of fight because of Gregory's punching power, in my opinion. He did against Kates because a) the cut he suffered forced him to, and b) Kates, while a fine puncher, didn't have the kind of power Gregory did, nor was he as comfortable in that kind of fight.

Anyways, I think Saad had both the power, durability, and technical skills to hang with Galindez anywhere in this fight, and given the strategy he used against Gregory (as well as the brutal knockout loss he suffered against Johnson while admittedly past his prime) I think Saad had more than enough power to get his respect. His underrated jab would also play a big part in allowing him to dictate the pace when in boxing mode, the way I see it. Saad gets criminally underrated as a technician in my book. The man was an excellent boxer-puncher with every punch in the book, great economy with his combinations, etc.

It would be a great fight, but I'd be more inclined to favor Saad by late rounds stoppage, actually.
