Didn't Kelly retire?

Mmmm. How do you explain Burns above Anderson? Anderson is a double champion with a good K.O tally. Burns is good, no doubt about that, but he's still to win a belt (I'm sure he will) and has no where near the KO tally of Kevin. Eplain please?

I am impressed with Jamie Crees - just wandering your reasoning for not having him a #2 or even #1 in Wales.

Also, do you know what is happening with Wayne O Sullivan (Chris' brother)..... where is he placed in the Wales rankings.

You must agree that Mo Nasir is the number 1 welsh boxer, i have him ranked 11th in Europe.

Jamie Crees is a good boxer and you could put him maybe 3rd anywhere in the top ten after Mo Nasir & Chris Jenkins but the other 10 are maybe just as good and all could change places with each other.

Wayne O Sullivan no record of him from 2006

Yes, personally I would have Crees at #2 and Nasir at #1. Nasir looks the business, but he doesn't have much competition in Wales at the weight. Both ended up with Commonwealth games bronze medals but I think Crees had the tougher semi final - (in other words I think Russan is a better boxer P4P than Langley).

Wayne is still training, he had at least one fight lined up in 2006 but it never happend. Not sure why he didn't go for the ABA's. He's had a few injuries.

Burns has a good win against Earl and did well in his European Title challenge against Arthur. Anderson has good wins over Okine and Mutley. I don't really think there is much in it.

If Anderson had defended his belts a few times he would have pulled ahead, but he didn't.

Good point, but neither has announced retirement, so I am keeping them both in until they do.

A couple of small points ABA.
Darren edwards has retired also robbie james and chris harmen are now pro. I cant swear to it but i think J crees is back working for the queen.

I hear what your saying BUT it's meant to be a P4P list. A quality puncher with a good KO record, such as Anderson, who has WON two titles should be above Ricky. Dont get me wrong I like Ricky Burns, but as I said he has still to win a title whilst Ando has 2. The list is needing a good up-date mate

I only change a fighters ranking after they have fought, so even if I now believed that Anderson should be above Burns, I would have to wait for Burns to lose or Anderson to win.

Incidently, I agree with Horse of McCullough anyway. Even in his second fight vs Larios (which was 2005) he did a better job than Hunter did in his world title challenge. I still believe Larios is a better boxer (and definately a better champion at the time) than Molitor.

As Wayne has long stated his desire to continue and its been partly due to suspesion and unlucky with opponents (he was scheduled vs Vasquez once) he should remain in a lofty position. Its not like Kostya Tszyu who apparently is still uncomfirmed whether he is returning or not. Wayne always said "I'm fighting on".

P dowse and lee champion are both licensed pros awaiting debut.

Like you said its hard to keep track of the Amateurs, i have started to construct World Amateur rankings, but keeping track of which Amateurs have gone Pro or retierd is a pain in the ass, Europe is hard enough but when it comes to Asia/Afica ect
