Does anyone know whats going on with at the moment?
When will he be fighting next and if he's gonna be getting a chance a world title this year?

Cook has benefited superbly associating with Sports Network, and now is poised to rule not only the planet, but the galaxy. The exposure he got under Britain's biggest promoter, Warren, on ITV, is simply remarkable...

Cook's signed a 6-fight deal with Warren, apparently.

Hardly allegedly's fault that Scott Harrison chose to do what he did.

Boxing News said Jess Harding his managers not pleased about it though.

Be interesting to see where and if the WBC put Cook back in their rankings. Harrison certainly destroyed all the good work Cook had done to get himself in the picture for a WBC title shot.

But a lot of his fighters piss about pathologically. IMO Warren signs up all the whiners, and the sicknoters - half the time Calzaghe and Harrison have acte dlike they didn't want to be world champions.

Cook certainly deserves a big fight I just hope the Harrison mess hasn't set him back too much. Did he disappear from the WBC rankings altogether??

Fightnews is reporting Injin Chi has offered himself as an opponent for Manny Pacquiao at 130 pounds, so it might be worth keeping an eye on how this develops in regards to Nicky Cook. Hopefully Cookie can get himself a shot at the title if Chi vacates.

The WBC has updated their rankings as yesterday they still had the ratings when Lopez was champ but they've put Chi back up and they still have Cook down as fighting for the WBO.

cook to beat chi imo

Depends how much is left of Chi, he's started looking a bit shopworn, but nobody has ever beaten that anvil jawed bastard easily.

I fear for Chi if he gets a fight with Pacman, two years ago would have been interesting, but Pacman has improved, whilst Chi looks to be a little over the hill. I can see Chi enduring a fearful beating before being rescued by the referee against Manny.

I think Chi was a bit underprepared for Koshimoto whe he lost his title, unluckily I though. Apparently he looked better against Lopez, in what's meant to be a very exciting fight.

I think Chi, a bit like Gatti (at lightwelter), picked up his world title just as he was coming to the end of his prime, with the wars he'd won to get there having taken their tole.

I remember thinking he did not look good vs Sugama and had quite a time with the pretty inexperienced Thommy Browne, which lead me to think there might be someone money to be made betting on an upset in the not too distant future. Unfortunately for me the Koshimoto fight went under my radar and i didn't lay any money down on that one. But I still feel, like Gatti, Chi's decline might be quite sudden and pretty total and he'll make a big scalp for someone soon, though not sure if it'll be Cook.
