Benitez was as skillful and as fast as Whitaker. Assuming that Benitez was at his best (no guarantee of that) he would have a very good chance of winning a close decision in an extemely boring fight.

Though I feel like I'm betraying Pernell since I knew him briefly(like 25? yrs ago) and he was a kind,ecouraging type of guy,still, the winner ......
