simpsons v carey...... continued from the colin hart thread

interesting thread that i have just read containing the simpsons/carey war of 2007 dialogue..... but lets not be hasty mr simpsons, comparing carey and woollatt in the same breath is not really fair on ben.
i believe, for what its worth, (and believe me myself and ben carey have had some fallouts both via forum and other personal modes of communication) that ben is at least a genuine honest guy with his forum intent, he is at least consistent in his views and has the intellect to stick to his guns as opposed to changing his head (gummidge woollatt style) whenever someone from the boxing world (aston, dodson, howard foster, maloney, booth/haye, mick hennessy....shit, the list is endless) takes umbridge to his comments.
i saw what ben carey wrote about tony dodson, i saw what dodson replied, i saw what gummidge woollatt wrote too........ then i saw the retreat (in the case of gummidge) and the changing of heads to avoid a potential right hander at a boxing event (as opposed to woollatts usual back hander). but from ben carey i at least saw consistency against what had already been written, and i commend him for that.
as for spud taking a roasting yesterday, i personally dont think salvador is spud (particularly because gummidge woollatts boxing brain would not stretch to include the name of such a prestigious former champion ! remember, gummidge woollatt was the one who turned up at heathrow to collect a maloney fighter, and stood there with a large inked piece of paper with TBA on it !!)
ben, best of luck with your new site, if i can give you some advice it might be to drop baldy off your shirt tails, let him carry on in his own little pugilistic dreamworld and stop him from linking your site to various forums. because his name associated with yours will be to the detriment of anything and everything you hope to aspire to in this game. we have both used the word 'wanker' to describe the arse in the past, i know we have had our fallouts as i said, but i get the impression you are a genuine guy if nothing else......
