hatton vs witter....next year and why

both fighters are caught up in serious fights in 2007
hatton will face castillo if he gets by urango so this will tie hatton up until the autum/winter time of the year. i think he will get by urango with no problems but i think the castillo fight will be a cracker just like the tyzuz (sorry about spelling) fight although i feel castillo will fall a little bit earlier than tyzuz ( i think about the 9th)
witter has a voluntary fight in a few weeks and should get past his mexican opponent but the winner has probably to fight both vivian harris and castillo as mandated by the wbc. witter will beat harris as he has gone and witters style will be to much although again if hatton beats castillo i dont know how he can stay the no1 contender??. these fights will take the rest of the year away for witter so the hatton fight has to be next year.
why??...as mentioned witters time has been taken up by his next 3 opponents although there could be a possibility of both fighters sharing a bill at the end of year against voluntry opponents if.....the wbc strip castillo of his no1 ranking because hatton has beaten him???.
both can have a tune up fight at the end of the year with the showdown being in london as i think both shouldnt have home advantage and at the time of year say feb/mar its too cold to have the fight outdoors.
there shouldnt be a problem with hbo as this is a unification match , the fight being in the uk will benefit both fighters as for this fight both would be getting huge money as the fight is so much easier to sell in britain.
all of the above is pending on both winning thier fights this year
any thoughts?

If Castillo faces Hatton he will lose his WBC ranking you'd think.

yeah mate thats my point , castillo is on the hatton bill fighting to be the number 1 contender for the wbc title
castillo knows though that if he and hatton are successful on jan 20 then they will make millions together rather than a few hundred thousand dollars for fighting witter.
if he does lose the wbc no1 then as mentioned on my above post , it leaves hatton and witter free to fight at the end of the year but probably more likely in the early months of 2008

We'll know a lot more about the landscape on Sunday the 21st.
You never know, Urango - who's mean to be a fair bit bigger than Hatton - might put in a career best effort. If it turns out to be a Gatti style slugfest, it would warrant a rematch - though I don't see Ricky fighting down to the Colombian.
If Castillo looks totally shot, there will be less interest in Hatton-Castillo. Let's not forget Castillo was slow as fvck in his last fight...142 lbs vs Rolando Reyes. But a fird up Castillo is a different man.
Strange that Castillo (vs Ngodjou) and Harris (vs whoever) are both fighting eliminators for Witter's title.
I'll keep on saying this. HBO will want to make Hatton-Ricardo Torres. Torres has the WBO title, is a puncher, nearly KO'd Cotto (despite eventually losing), & he's disposable because his title winning effort is dubious (vs Arnaouitis).
Hatton-Torres by next year, or sooner if Castillo doesn't knock out Ngodjou with a crunching left hook. An exciting schedule in all.

i don't see the witter fight happening until maybe late 2008.
witter has to persuade HBO first.
hatton has fights against the likes of castillo, cotto, corrales and mayweather on the horizon.
junior who????

It's always "next year" for you aint it $hitboy?...next year you get a job....next year you get a life....blah,blah,blah
It depends if you think Castillo qualifies as a superfight - very much hinging on how lethal/how blunt JLC looks against Herman. If Urango, Collazo and Maussa are the 'gimmes' I think he deserves a break. Torres and Vivian Harris will also be in the mix, in all probability, and both of them can bang.
It depends how you like it - fight nothing but greats - that are definitely pasy their physical primes Tszyu, Castillo, Mayweather; fight good fighters in their prime (Urango, Collazo...& Torres, Arnaouitis); fight an outstanding young fighter in his prime (Cotto)...the best from a managerial POV is a careful balance of these aspects.
Most people felt Castillo would've butchered Cotto at 140 (though he'd get gutted from groin to adam's apple at 147), so maybe he counts as a major fight, unless he looks shot next weekend.

TOO BORIGN TO EVEN GO INTO TO BE HONEST.
needless to say the prat who claims hatotn is scared of fighting witter, is talking hogwash
I very much doubt he is scared of someone who looks and fights like ET
