Slight OT - Watch Bonin's last fight

I asked on the Trades thread if anyone had a couple of rather obscure European fights. Bonin's last fight was one of them. Just looking at his record, it always looked a crazy one. He fought a guy - Silvin - who was apparently making his debut. Silvin KOs Bonin in the early stages, before being KOs three times himself, and having points deducted.

But I actually found it on youtube this morning, and it's quite a treat. Silvin is now I think my favourite novelty fighter. Throughout the fight he has this incredible lunging style - every shot is a haymaker - which confirms his naivity & innexperience as a pro boxer. He also has an extremely severe case of Herbieitus (see him being KOd early in the 2nd by a brush on the shoulder.) Add in him trying to pick up his mouthpiece with his gloves on, and all sorts of stuff, it really is quite something.

(unfortunately the guy who uploaded it has done it in 2 parts, middway through Bonin's count, but anyway)

Why the hell is a guy 36-1 fighting a guy that inept?

Attrocious.

Bonin's record is one of the most padded I have ever seen!

Even "funnier" than the action was the referee. What was that count like at the end. Fastest 8 seconds ever, then practicularly followed with 8 1/2, 8 3/4

I think he'd had enough by that point!!

LMFAO, that is the funnyest shit i've seen in a long time, im in stitches, Bonin kept comin in and gettin caught, shows you how crap Bonin is this video, damnit that is some funny shit right there. Jomo you call them haymakers? lmao more like sissyfied gaybar haymakers :P

Running in with his head down too lmao, Bonin sure does suck, i could of KO'd that guy easily imo look at the way he keeps runnig in, open for and kind of attack especially the uppercut lmao

Referee is a joke hahahahah discraseful refereeing

And to think Bonin was pretty much even stevens with Harrison before the dodgy stoppage.

Did they just drag that guy in off the street? Not only does he have no technique but he was blowing after about 30 seconds!

after the first KD of the Silvin, he turns his back , and the ref just says 'Hello' . to get his attention.

Exactly...world class operator my backside!

P.S. That is one of the worse excuses for a fight i have ever seen. Shame my "worst fights" topic is long lost in the current scene archives because that is a serious contender for lack of technical ability but for sheer entertainment value, priceless :box:

That fight gives hope to every average Joe wanting to step into the ring.

If Silvin was British would he of been able to get a pro licence?
I remember a couple of months ago a guy was moaning about the BBBoC not giving him a licence because they deemed him not good enough.
