According to boxrec, Simone Maludrottu is coming back over to England to fight Ian Napa. :o

I'm not sure I get this. Napa can not be the mandatory. Has Maloney paid to bring Maludrottu over here for a voluntary? To be honest I don't see Napa winning this. What's going on?

Napa clearly lacks a dig so i just see Maludrottu's strength being too much and wearing Napa down around 8. Napa wants to hope it doesn't go to the cards, especially on home turf :TU:

Napa should have been a world class fighter, but turned pro too early and didn't dedicate himself. Has knuckled down now but it is most probably too late.

I don't think we realise how good Malo can be. He spanked Kelly 2nd time. No one's done that since Pacheco.

Napa is now apparently moving back down to Flyweight as previously discussed on this very forum!!

Yeah, only Pacheco and Maludrottu did that to Kelly. I would love to see Kelly back and have a "rubber" match with Maludrottu though. Think he just must have been caught "right", cause I think Kelly is a different class to him 9 times out of 10.

I just think Maloney needs to put his energies more into Munyai, the only guy he has in those weights that truly delievers the goods.

I'm initially glad to hear Napa is coming down to Flyweight.

If Lee Haskins is prepared to get down to 8st too, the Flyweight title could get contested more than it has been for some time. Napa, Haskins, Robinson, Edwards.....Broadhurst coming through.

Looks tasty doesn't it when you put it that way, some good fights to be made.

Yeah and it would also be nice to see boxers at this weight earn a bit of regular, decent money. The first 4 boxers mentioned all appear on Sky.

One of them could get a Lonsdale Belt for keeps because, for once, there is enough valid challengers.
