How in the blue hell was Power ahead on the cards? Thank goodness it was stopped then. Did Power win a round a reality? It was a one sided kicking.

Something tells me you are correct though, I can remember being disgusted with something involving the first fight.

It was one way traffic all the way, Thank Christ Munyai has a punch, otherise he would have been jobbed by now. How far ahead was Haskins at the time of stoppage? LOL

Frank Maloney posted on here before the last fight... he apologised about Napa's withdrawal from the card, I don't remember his exact quote but he gave me the impression that Power thought he was in for a cakewalk against the south african.

As for the scoring, although Power was hurt a number of times, i also had him ahead, he was landing loads of pitter-pat punches. As he said, he was preparing for midget Napa and got this freak, so he can't have been well prepared.. could have had his Napa fight this time I believe but he's chose a rematch... smells like an upset to me, Power can be backed at 5/1 with some bookies, good value against this Munyai kid IMO.

Be nice if Frank could post up this time and reassure us that he's still got faith in his kid (i and can decide how many £s i invest )

Power may have landed some "pitter-pat" punches but this isn't amateur boxing, no way could any unbiased judge have had Power ahead at the time of the ok (in my book) stoppage.

Power is not a fighter I like but fair play to him for fighting Munyai again. I can actually see Munyai beating him even quicker this time around. Power v Haskins is a fight I would like to see after this and think Power wins that one.

the statistics for re-matches in general would certainly go with what you have said... but it's just my opinion that Power is a little bit better than we what we saw last time out

Munyai was a fair bit ahead at the time of the stoppage, in the eyes of most normal observers!

Power did land some cracking shots, but how can he win rounds when Munyai roars back with left hooks, right crosses and wicked body shots?

Power was put in his place by a kid who fought smart and lively.

Munyai is a world class prospect. I hope our fighters continue to be brave by fighting him. It will probably all dry up when ppl realise Munyai-Power 1 wasn't a fluke.

I also hope he gets some major backing to groom him for world titles.

He's not had many more fights than Khan, but looks a fair bit better, IMO.

Power wouldn't be good value at 50/1. His best shots had zero effect on Munyai, whilst the punches that came back rocked Power several times. He's got tons of heart for trying to stick with Munyai when the going got tough in the first fight, and for choosing a rematch when nobody would have blamed him for taking a softer option, but he's out of depth against this opponent. Munyai has too much of everything, and considering he was a late substitute, it's reasonable to assume that there is still more to come.

I haven't seen Power-Munyai but if someone wants to send it me then much obliged In all seriousness i think Haskins may have won the first two rounds against Munyai before the African warmed up and demolished him.

I think Power can win this 1 aswell,he will be better prepared this time.
Last time they fought power had 30 days rest of his previous fight with Issac ward.He maybe underestated Munyai because nobody had heard of him,looked for single shots which tired him very quickly.
This time Power will know that fast short bursts of 4-5 punchs,outboxing munyai to win on points or late stoppage in the 11th-12th.

Munyai is improving, he came in on 1 week's notice,...he is tall and powerful.

HE will decimate MArtin unfortunately.

Munyai's going to knock his block off. Imagine all the new things that Tshihiwa is learning. He's a cruel body puncher, uses angles, pivots, combinations and throws quite a lot of punches.

Maybe Power will be able to jump up and nut him though at some point?

For any excuse Power has about the first fight surely Munyai coming over from South Africa at the last minute, boxing in front of a Power crowd in a much bigger fight than anything he had previously experienced just about levels it out.

Well we will just have to wait till friday to see what gona happen.IMO Power has learnt alot aswell since that defeat,is faster on his feet then Munyai and and faster hand speed so i think he CAN beat him this time.Not taking nothing away from Munyai,He is rated WORLD 11 in boxrec rankings so taking on this fight is achievement alone.
BUT i'm glad to see all you guys backing the british fighter.....

But you have to admire Munyai, coming from seemingly nowhere, to come in late notice and outclass Power, before beating up a cocky, and it has to be said unappealing little Haskins. Munyai is still being written off, but soon all the best Brits will avoid him like the plague. If he destroys Power again, I'll bet we don't see Munyai on these shores too much.

Well there isn't a lot more for him to fight over here Maussa apart from maybe Jason Booth or Ian Napa. Power nor Haskins are particulaly likeable and Munyai came over, unknown with a great style to watch and made many people he could reach world class. I've never been keen on supporting people just because they're British.

And hasn't Maloney signed Munyai? Maybe they can get some fights for him against euro level guys over here.

A more prepared Power might do better though.

Munyai is apparently more worried about the weather than he is power!

God knows how Power was ahead in their last fight?... that beggars belief, ...I think Munyai will have an easier time this time as he seems to be improving with every fight, Munyai by ko in about 5 or 6 rounds...

If I was a promoter I'd sign him and groom him for world titles. With his frame I'm sure he'll have to look toward super bantam for opponents
