against dave parris....he is happy that morrison won but is agahst that dave parris made daws a 5 point winner and will be making an official complaint to the bbbofc

parris should be banned from judgeing for 6 months for this....he tried to give a home town decision but to him only morrison only won 3 out of the 12 rounds

well done tommy

Wasn't it Parris who reffed the Samuels vs Barker fight?

How can tightwad Tommy moan when loads of kids have got shafted by local area refs on his dinner shows in Glasgow.

The difference is that we've only got your word that someone got shafted on Gilmours wine and dine nights, everyone and their auntie saw that clown Parris give the fight to Daws, when everyone must know he got pumped.

This is one of the reasons why i'm glad the BBBoC are not going to introduce open scoring. As the WBC seem so keen on it.
The Morrison fans would have gone mad at Dave Parris, if after 8 rounds the scores had been shown and he had Daws in front.
How can he then remain impartial for the rest of the fight.

i have to be sympathetic towards the judge here, much as it seemed a diabolical perception of what actually happened a judge has one view and one view only, he can only score what he sees, heads jerking back etc are no guarantee of a punch landing, perhaps, just perhaps the majority of the decent work that morisson did was out of sight of this particular judges view..

on the tv we see multiple camera angles, slow motion etc.

parris has been around the block often enough to know what he sees and how he scores it.

gilmour will get absolutely no joy with the BBBC, he will just be told that boxing scoring is a subjective matter and its open to interpretation.

at least we had 3 judges for it, if the fight had been scored on parris' score alone then it would have looked like a travesty.

but credit to both boxers, lenny was a mile behind and rallied very well, good advice coming from his cornermen, it was only a guttsy last round that saved morisson.

My arse, what are you talking about? I thought McCrackpot was poor in the corner, after 6 rounds he's talking to Lenny as if he has nothing to worry about, he should have given him a feckin roasting, and told him he was blowing it. How do you reckon that it was only a big last round by Morrison that won him it, your as bad as Parris. Should have gone to Specsavers.
