This would be the younger,fresher Saad,not the tired,past his prime shell.Saad was an underrated boxer,but he could box.His wars are what he was known for.You know this would be a "fight of the year" fight.Again,I think Holyfield "may" have an edge in speed,a little in size,but everything else equal.Saad would come out using that very good jab that he had when he did use it,with Holyfield applying pressure.After a couple of rounds like this,Saad HAS to take the invitation to brawl,and things get atomic.They go back and forth,slugging it out,in a fast paced war.I like Holyfield,but my heart likes Saad(maybe on account of having seen him do the things that earned him the name "Miracle Matthew).Saad takes a close decision,and before they leave the ring,a rematch is already being talked about,

Muhammad was one of my favorites of the 70s and 80s, and one of the most exciting fighters one could ever hope to watch at 175, but I think Holyfield would be a bit too strong for Muhammad.

Holyfield outstrengths him then outworks him and takes a blood and guts points victory.

Don't know how MSM would handle a move up to Cruiserweight, but either way, I see Holyfield destroying him inside of 4 rounds. MSM wouldn't survive Evander's headshots the way he did Yaqui Lopez's.

At 195.....Holyfield simply much to strong....plus had incredibly fast hands in his prime.....Holyfield by TKO inside of 10...

Yeah , like Barry , Saad was a fav. of mine back in the 70s and 80s.
I just dont see him beating Evander.
His stand in there and bang , blood and guts warrior style would play right into the stronger Holyfields hands.
I think Evander would stop him.

Like I said,I like Holyfield,but my heart goes w/Saad.I know more than likely Holyfield would take this,but a Saad fan can dream can't he.What i liked about Holyfield,was his combinations,which he threw like he was a middleweight.Sure his heart,and slugfests were impressive,but it was his skills that made a fan out of me.He had good speed,excellent coordination/combinations,a good chin,and stamina.He could get down,when he had to.I liked him skillwise better at Cruiser,when he could use those advantages that were somewhat negated at heavy.So like many of you,I put up fights that I would like to see,but give an admittedly(sometimes stupid)biased account as to what I think would happen.So realistically,I think he'd take Saad,maybe Spinks(you have to keep in mind Spinks awkwardness,as well as his skills),but Marciano takes him,no clowning,

Saad wasn't just a favorite of mine, but was my favorite fighter for a number of years. Holyfield by mid rounds stoppage.

Not close - in this case "A beat B and B beat C so A beats C" really does apply, with A = Holyfield, B = Qawi, C = Saad.

It's funny,I was just thinking of that,A beats B,who beat C,so naturally A should beat C,right?But usually C proceeds to whale the tar out of A,in these scenarios.
