Just read on Hatton's websire about Hatton taking on Oscar De La Hoya....
Even hardened Hatton fans can't really believe he could beat an even past his best De La Hoya.

Even hardened Hatton fans can't really believe he would even merit consideration to face a past his best De La Hoya.
He should face an A level class fighter in the US before he starts talking about facing De La Hoya and his like. Utterly fanciful nonsence.

Similar fighters DLH fought: JCC, Mayorga, Hernandez, Vargas. Nearest thing Hattons fought to DLH is Collazo. DLH hits far harder, is as fast, is bigger, has a better chin, and overall allot better than Collazo.
DLH was a beast 140 and below and just walked through opponents or outboxed them. This would be over before the mid rounds. DLH beats most in history 130-140, hes just too big and too good.

Hatton is strong enough to fight DLH. Collazo is strong enough to deal with Mosley and He held his own with DLH. Hatton would be up for this like the Tzsyu fight.

Doesn't matter how 'up' for this he would be, DLH would toy with the much shorter Hatton. He couldn't miss with his favoured left hook.

Hatton would lose in the same Way Gatti lost to Dlh He hits to damn hard for Hatton I can't see hatton fighting effective in the middle of the ring if he tries to get on the inside he will find out how Dlh's Jab taste and would get stopped by the The mid rounds If a bigger stronger vargas couldn't do it who says a 5'6 Jr. WW Who had trouble fighting Collazo could?

I don't know what Oscar's on about, I thought he said something the other week about needing challenges, so why bother mentioning Hatton's name?
I wonder if he woke up one morning and thought: What would be a fitting conclusion to my career? I know, I'll fight Hatton. After all, I'm bigger, stronger, hit harder, and am just on a totally different level as a fighter. This'll add something to the legacy.

Hatton would get murdered, it would be an absolute cake walk for Oscar. You would have to be a fool to give Hatton any resemblance of a chance!

He struggled to impose his strength on a welterweight, he would be totally outpowered by a light middle De La Hoya, who even competed at middleweight.
