All I have to say is that A) I hope Adamek is OK, and B) I'm impressed with the class he continues to show in defeat.

I wouldn't be suprised if there were any fractured ribs caused from the fight too, what with the amount of crushing body shots Dawson landed. If Adamek had probs with his kidneys prior to the fight then it should have been postponed again.

i also hope it's not a case of someone being too much of a warrior for his own good!! like lv says, dawson's body shots could have caused serious damage & worsened the condition!!

Hope it's nothing too serious and he's back punching ASAP

No kidding, first thing I thought when I caught wind of this was "must have been the body shots". They couldn't have helped, anyway...Adamek froze in his tracks on more than one occasion from those right hooks to the body, and he's a hard one to hurt.

No kidding, first thing I thought when I caught wind of this was "must have been the body shots". They couldn't have helped, anyway...Adamek froze in his tracks on more than one occasion from those right hooks to the body, and he's a hard one to hurt.

even if this ends up hindering/hurting adamek's long-term career, it would not be either the first or most extreme example of someone fighting through pain/injury/illness with disastrous results!! for just one example...imagine the searing/throbbing pain piercing through gerald mcclellan's head as the blood clot began to expand in the middle round---surely there were painful shocks warning him that his brain was literally preparing to explode---if ONLY gerald had understood/heeded those paiful tremors, he could be walking around and functioning somewhat today!!

as one who just survived a horrendous car accident and am grateful to be alive...i can tell tomasz adamek he can be grateful his warrior spirit didnt cost him as big a chunk of his life as mcclellan's warrior spirit took of his life!!
