Witter-Harris - A Mini Super Fight

I'm pretty excited about this as a Witter fan and boxing fans as a whole should be. 2 top 4 140lbers squaring off and 1 of them is a BritIf this comes off which isn't a 100% what do you think. Because Harris comes to win he'll be open to more Witter counters, his straight punches may give Witter some problems with his unorthodox hands down style
Harris is a typical Steward fighter in hes super tall, an athlete a great 1-2. HARRIS IS HUGE - he has 4 inches of reach on Witter and 3-4 inches in height, Harris should win the battle of the jabs. Hes possibly also the hardest hitter at 140 stopping Hurtado and Ukral doing better numbers on them than Tyszu. Hes fast but a weakness is he has poor ring generalship. Like Witter he also has stamina issues
This could be a Witter fight that turns into a war, 2 big hitters that can both score th KO

Witter was never KO'ed by Carlos Maussa though and has never been stopped.

I think we need to take Harris's loss to Maussa with a pinch of salt, seems to me a bad day at the office. Harris is still world class and if Witter beats him i would take it as a good win for Junior. This is a 50/50 contest for me Witter V Harris.

definitely an excellent trade fight.
it'll be interesting to see how harris deals with witter's style.

Witter can't afford to mess about in this one. I believe he can totally take away Vivian's concentration and pick him off when he's lost his head. But Harris punches straight and hard, so no switching if there's no big reason behind it, as he'll get nailed.
Harris can be a fine fighter, but I really do question his focus after the Maussa and Urkal 1 fights.

Should be good as will rais witters profile in the US and he will have names they respect (rather than being another champion. Hopefuly hatton will grow a pair and fight him after that.

This is an excellent fight, with a lot to gain for the winner. Could be very interesting we haven't really seen Witter in with a world class puncher since Judah.

by don't call it a comeback
Its certainly a meaningful fight and a tough one for Witter assuming Harris has his head in the right place and does his training properly. I see Witter losing a decision.
Unfortunately style wise I think it will be a bit a stinker but I hope I'm wrong.

I can see Harris taking the win and Witters only bargaining tool(WBC belt, however paper the title is)for a fight with Hatton with him.

Hatton has only ever beaten KT for a REAL Belt.
All Hattons other belts have been paper titles won from the weakest World Champions.
Witter will beat Harris and by KO.

Great, 50/50 fight. The winner will have more than earned a Hatton fight, that's for sure.

Witter i feel needs to stick to orthodox as whenever he switches southpaw he never looks comfortable to me apart from throwing out a few token jabs and moving back to orthodox. If he keeps switching then someone will take advantage and nail him, i think his style could confuse Harris here but Harris's straight shots will give Witter trouble, he will be better prepared than Corley.

'If' it happens, this is the first fight in quite some time that Witter comes in as far from being the favourite.
I've not seen much of Harris, apart from the Urkal fights, he's a decent operator and is a lot more of a live threat than the likes of Morua/Corley.
Should be a decent fight - It's going to points either way :)
