I'd prefer to stick with PS2 for a good while longer, £425 is far too pricey for my liking, especially as the bulk of the games are for PS2. GTA 4 is a tempter though... why do the yanks get this so much cheaper???... :x :x :x
Dont you mean FightNight 4, as 3 already been released on PS2 and is absolute shite by all accounts... fight Nights 1 and 2 are by far the best, woth the first one being the best of all imo...

One of my mates tests games for Sony, and has told me to wait a few months after the release before I get one. He said the first games out for the console, are basically PS2 games with better graphics (think F1 etc). The better titles will be out in the following months (although Sony are notorious for pushing back releae dates).

£425 is bloody expensive. I doubt Sony will be able to fill pre-orders anyway. Give it a few months and you'll probably be able to pick up a better bundle for the same price, if not a bit cheaper. I waited to get my Xbox 360 and got a much better deal in the long run.

I am going to wait. The price will come down. Plus there will be glitches with the machine that will be ironed out as they go...

That's exactly right. I've played all the launch games and there's nothing stellar there. Fight Night 3 (and it is 3 rather than 4) is good, but not significantly better than the XBox360 version.
You're not going to see any great releases until Sept/Oct at the earliest...

Yes, the best thing so far for the PS3 is GTA 4 which comes out in about October.... how many parents let their kids play these GTA games I wonder?.... doesnt really surprise me that the fav toy of most 13 year olds seems to be real live guns!...
