Quite shocked to see that bookies are offering Katsidis at evens against Earl on Saturday - Bet365 being the "biggest" name to reveal their odds so far.

Bit of an unknown entity is Katsidis. Clearly he can bang, and Earl is not unshiftable. Early has also put in a couple of under par performances of late, and (It's a total guess) but would have to be on good form to get the better of the ozzie.

Basically, I would have taken Katsidis at anything over 4/7ish. I think evens is a very good outright bet.

Evens is very tempting. But Earl does always perform in his biggest fights and underperforms in the low key ones so be wary.

I'm still debating whether to put a cheeky bet on Sprott but the losses littered all over Michael's recent record albeit in good competetion don't assure me. Sprott could be too small to compete with Audley.

Earl is crap so evens is good. If it goes to points expect Earl to get a dodgy home win so that Khan can beat him. Then Khan to make 50 defences of the WBO title before fighting the real 'world champion'.

Katsides is an animal in the ring, He can box and can punch and once he has an opponent hurt it is all over, Dont be suprised if the fight finishes early. Katsides has been calling out Ndou, Stclair and Rabah over the last year or 2 and none of them wanted anything to do with him.

katsidis looks the favourite.

Kasidas is a big mouth boxing bully with a hand picked record, He's called out Ndou and any one else who he can, only to come up lame when told to get in, and put up or shut up, Ndou for one called his bluff and managed to shut this fella up last year.

Unfortunate thing is he probably will win although I call this a step up for him but he can bang a bit and is very agressive, He I would liken to Khan which would be a very good fight, but that still don't mean he's the world beater he thinks he is, Hard one too pick because Earl is no world beater but Kasidas has had a hand picked carreer . Kasidas could reach commonwealth level but other than that it would have to be WBU or one of the other bullshit belts.

a lot of ppl must ave been backing katsadis - the odds on bet365 ave gone down to 6-4 on for katsadis and earl at evens. Did a little punt of katasdis by ko and sprott on points accumulator. Unlikely but you neva know.

Betfair have suspended their book on it, there has been steady money for Katsidis all day.....someone must have lumped on big for them to suspend the book.

I've taken Earl by points and Kasidas by KO.

They may have just suspended as they don't know what time the fight starts, once they had Magee-Takaloo still open after the result was on BBN!

I lumped on a grand but they suspected foul play and didn't pay out.

100% certian it's been pulled because of the uncertainty of start times and nothing else. When Hatton used to box on big SN bills I used to have it right off knowing the results while markets where still up. Bought a new fitted kitchen after getting 16/1 and 25s on Skelton to beat McDermott in the first a while back. Always pays to keep an eye out. Am up to my conkers on Katsidis tonight.

Derek, im in LARGE also on Katsidis......why didnt you tip this up on the Sporting Life site instead of the Audley fight?

Alright Hagler mate? My mam is quite ill at the moment so have moved back to Hartlepool and am only doing freelance work for the Sporting Life, Betting Zone, ITV etc. They wanted the Audley fight previewing and as I'm also working to make ends meet so I didn't have time to preview the rest of the bill. I thought Earl's corner pulled him out too soon, he was getting hit but It wasn't one sided.

When Earl was pushed on the ropes, Earl was doing well at landing those hooks and Kat and both put each other down.

Earl covers up too much, but he was doing well.

They didn't, Mickey Vann rightly stopped it cos Earl was having little to no effect, whereas the Aussie was.

It was a great littel scrap, if a little too one sided to be an all time great encounter (save that huge right hand in the second from Earl).

Earl showed a huge set of stones in there as usual but his head was getting pinged about by some wicked looking shots so I can understand the corner retirement - they gave him his chance.

Its even(ish) exciting contests that remind me why I love boxing.

As i said elsewhere, a bit like Munyai-Power, in the sense that there is no point leaving someone in to get done in, just because they do not look too bad at the time

Katsidis is definitely a good addition to the 135lb ranks, and I hope we see him again soon. But I fear for him against someone who throws straight shots. He's got that crowd pleasing but worrying combination of huge balls and no defence.

Nah, I thought Earl was doing well pacing himself and when Kat pushed him towards the ropes he was landing those hooks on Kat well.

Kat was strong but I thought he was tiring and over pacing himself. His face was as bad as Earl's.
