Calling him 'former' or 'spent' would imply that he was actually SOMETHING previously. :o

As well all know, Audley has achieved precisely nothing in his pro career & for a man with such a big mouth, that is accutely embarrassing. :o

he did say he will be back but its hard to imagine him competing against even the gatekeepers now. he's lucky that he wont be facing skelton. people overhyped his beating of williams and were saying he "was back" but he never was anywere anyway

Absolutely spot on.

It was made even worse by the fact that he was staring down the camera, after his win over the ill-prepared Williams, ranting away as if he'd just beaten Joe Frazier (1968) or something!

Whilst I agree Audley has heaped a certain amount of ridicule on himself, to us Armchair Warriors, surely, to give him some respect we can allow him to be known as "Olympic Gold Medallist".

Last time I checked my litany of sporting achievements I didn't see a medal from the Olympics...

If Ali was fighting today, I'm sure he'd call Harrison, the TORTOISE!

I think it is very apt; he goes into a shell at the slightest bit of danger & in view of the fact that he is a novice pro & has only had just over 20 fights in almost SIX years, his career could be said to be tortoise like! :TU:
