I heard Moran's got no Amateur career at all. Was he a kick boxer like Skelton?

Seems not well managed, fighting Hobson that soon with no Amateur experience. I read In boxing monthly that Moran's Girlfriend tried to attack Hobson In the ring after Moran was Ko'ed!

Not seen Moran fight though, so does he have talent to win any sort of domestic belt?

I find It crazy a 6ft 6 man can make cruiserweight but Hobbo's 6ft 5 and makes It, although he said In Boxing Monthly he wouldn't of been able too If they never added 10lbs to Cruiserweight!

Yeah, Morans missus attacked hobson after hobbo almost took morans head off. Not sure about the amateur experience of moran, although i'd confidentially predict this could be the end of whats been a mediocre boxing career.

He has some skills, but looks very chinny, and also has lapses of concentration which ultimately cost him fights. I think his career will more or less be over now, so don’t be pinning any scouse hopes on him. I was actually quite surprised nobody contested the stoppage from his corner.

Terrence - good scrap on what was a very mediocre card? You were sat at the far end of the press row were you? I had the privilege of being sat behind the scouse guy who was shouting throughout the whole fight "Tight guard tony, tight guard" etc...
All the undercard fights were decidedly average i thought, with the exception of Matvienko's hard fought win over the Sunderland lad. Credit to Steve Wood and VIP promotions who packed the place out, and got the card up and running without TV money!! I often wonder why a smaller TV station dont pay next to nothing to televise the fight, its better than nothing for the promoter and surely the TV station would have more viewers than usual?

Nah, not pinning hopes on him, out of the few I've seen I think It's Derry Matthews who could go far.
