Alex Arthur Out....

The Beeb are reporting that Arthur is out of his fight with Alexander Hrulev next weekend. Arm injury, apparently. Does anyone care? I can't say I was that fussed about the fight, and it was hardly the star attraction of the Liverpool bill anyway.

True but it would have been nice for the fans of Liverpool to get a glimpse of Alex Arthur live.

BTW, Jamie McKeever has now been added to the show just a week after losing to Ryan Barrett. He will fight Steven Bell up at super-feather for the vacant central area belt.

I swear, if BN call him a scouser one more time......... :)

Shame about Arthur, but there's still plenty of quality on the bill, so it ain't all bad.

Good enough test for Bell, McKeever may well become a yardstick now.

I didn't realise Jamie recent fought and lost. He would have started as the favourite sounded quite comprehesive judging by the refs card. Looks to be on the slide, had a few tough ones.

Jamie looked a different class in the first round and then Barrett got on top with his height advantage and just won every round. McKeever finished with a 'Rahman' like bruise to his head.

Sounds like a bit of a strange one then, after a bright start to practically lose every round.

He got hurt in the second early on with a couple of lefts to the body. And they turned the fight

No mate, my accents somewhere in between, not camp like a woolyback, but not as thick as a Runcorn accent.
