Look out for this young bloke. He'll be Australia's next star.
19 year-old lightweight made his pro debut in Jakarta on John/Rojas card.
He's trained by Craig Christian @ Harry's Gym, Perth.
Cheers

I have seen him fight as an amature and he looked really skilled, I didn't know he went pro but i hope you are right about him.

Jakarta Post scribe figured he was Filipino.
Obviously he’s never seen an Indigenous Australian.
-------Other undercard fights between Angky Angkota of Indonesia and Sairunk Singhawangcha of Thailand (bantamweight), Abi Metiaman of Indonesia and Jaime Barcelona of the Philippines (lightweight junior) and Paul Sabon of Indonesia and William Kickett of the Philippines (featherweight) will take place after the main bout------

I'll be sure to keep an eye out for him... is he going to fight in Australia any time soon?

I look forward to seeing him Anton. Do you know if he's related to the Kickett's who played in the AFL?

Don't know. I'll ask trainer Craig when I get his profile.
Cheers

Cheers Anton. I seem to remember the Dale Kickett handling himself reasonably well on the field in the memorable Eagles/Dockers brawl of about 5 years ago. If William goes as hard, we may have a future world champ on our hands!

He's quite good BUT I do think he's overrated. I've seen him fight several times and at times he laks focus in the ring and looks slightly vulnerable. Good but relatively unproven.

Im a very big william kickett fan, but i think that Fred Mundraby is just as good a prospect, if not better.
If Mundraby had proper backing to get overseas fights he could go very well, i think he is too risky for anyone in australia not to mention our lack of depth in the lighter weights

I think most boxing fans would love to see Mundraby fight. It's a shame Fox can't get him on a card so we could all have a look at him

Yeh thats right, maybe red corner should get him on a few more shows? I saw his fight with matt meredith on redcorner it was a corker.
Hey Razor, just as a matter of interest mate did you ever visit the wagga wagga pcyc in 06? I can vaguely remember a bloke visiting with his young daughter who seemed to have very advanced skills

Back when i was a young pup learning the ropes

The Guy he's fighting looks good a 9-0 prospect, who looks like he can bang, should put him back in the mix if he pulls off the win.

The mail I have on Adrian Broner is:
- experienced am who goldenboy signed and had high hopes for. not so much now.
- he is extremely fast but hasn't got much pop at all.
Should be a good fight. I'd say it is going to the cards. hope Willy gets a fair shake if that's the case.

John has pulled out of the rematch with Juarez with an illness. The show is still going ahead so I assume Willie is still fighting.

How do people see this going today, I'm hoping Willie isn't over awed, and puts on a clinic.

Cool Willie was stopped in the 6th round. He had his moments early but was down in the 4th and again in the 6th.
