Definitely yes, I would put money on Holyfield.

i've seen everyone of both these fellas fights.

Holyfield even now, is on another level, he'd take him apart inside the distance.

I'm not sure it is a silly thread. I remember reading Boxing Monthly after Holyfield was beaten by Toney, and the reporter for that fight (I forget who it was, I'm afraid) was saying back then that Holy was shot, and that (to paraphrase) 'Evander could well be a stepping stone for Harrison'. At the time, I agreed.

I thought Evander was done. I still do, in a way, because I really don't think he should be fighting. But his win over Oquendo is better than anything Harrison has ever achieved. Holyfield has one thing Harrison has never displayed, and that's a real fighting heart. However, I'd hate to see Holyfield's heart versus Audley's rumoured ability disguised as a world title eliminator. Sadly, bitter experience tells me it probably isn't far away.

I've suspected he was on steroids for ages, for the reasons I gave above. Hair loss, that's another suspicious area, btw. (please don't say 'oh, so anyone whose hair falls out is a steroid user').

Yeah! He's so excellent that he hasn't even bothered to research Hypergonadism. If he had bothered, he would have realised that the symptoms of said are entirely and 100% the opposite of what he decided Holyfield is suffering & what he titled his article.

Actually, the article states hypogonadism, hypo means less than, as it hypoglycaemia, or low blood sugar as it's known, not hypergonadism, which would be gigantic testicles, like what I've got.

Althought this is merely one piece, can all of us here really say we've never suspected Holyfield abused steroids? Whether he did or not, I've still got tremendous respect for his courage and tenacity as a fighter.

George Kimball is a well respected long standing journalist, and I would suggest it's your reading skills which are at fault, rather than his writing skills.

Well respected by who? What kind of serious writer takes a legends name with only rumour and writes "Balls the size of peas"?

Well, ok well respected in that he is well established, has been around a long time, and has a history in print media, which usually means they are a reputable journalist.

However, writing for boxingtalk kind of ruins such credibility a little, but the fact Evander is under investigation and has had numerous health problems which have mysteriously appeared and dissapeared throughout his career, and given some of the weird performances he has turned in, then I think it is no wonder that the finger is pointing at Evander right now.

I wonder how many times we've seen Evander Holyfield, and how many times we've seen 'Evan Fields.'

Having rooted for him many times in the past, I feel very suspicious about him. I also think Mosley, Vitali, Toney & Jones have done some serious juicing.
