Help with a Documentary

Hello,
I am currently working on a documentary about Jewish Boxers during 1910 through the 1940’s. I was hoping someone might know of ANY living boxers from that time (Amateur or Pro). Any contact information or leads for that information would be greatly appreciated! Also, if anyone could tell me how I may be able to obtain fight footage from that time.
Thank you so much for ANY help!

The Jewish museum in London is preparing a large exhibition all about Jewish boxers, it opens on the 9th of May. I know they have fight films of Jack kid Berg. My grandfather was Teddy Baldock who fought in Premierland which was a venue for many jewish boxers from the East End of London. I have managed to find footage of him from Movietone News, Pathe and Topical Budget which now come under ITN Archives so it will be worth looking there. I hope this is of some help and please email me if you would like any more info.
Regards
Martin

Here's a somewhat comprehensive, yet still incomplete list of Jewish boxers:

Very difficult to find film in a preTV existance.
And boxer do not live long life ?
May be you should look for pictures and used a ken burn style effect a motion on a picture.
I am a canadian and i work on the periode of 1922 from de visite of Jack Dempsey in Canada to is fight with Luis Angel Firpo in 1923.
I have a scrap book of this periode and i know i got some boxer fit of wath you looking for but it's only a smale article and not much picture.
The Chicago Museum got a nice collection of picture. A locale photographer give all is negatif to the museum.
A historian from Sherbrooke Serge Gaudreau just print a book on Jack Reneault a Leo Flint boxer in the early 20's Renault was alias Leonard Dumoulin. I work on the periode where few french canadian work with Jack Dempsey. I know some jewish boxers fight in Montreal. In the same time i did my research i could watch for it too. I like to do a documentary on this but like you i need images.

I would write to boxing news about this as they could print you letter or put you in touch with some of the ex boxers associations etc. As for film footage there are a few guys on this site who would have material for you.
