Any update/details on his next outing?
I'm guessing it will be in the UK courtesy of Mr. Hatton...

especially if gonzalez wins it. :x

Clinton should up sticks....I bet Warren could land a good fight for him...
Clinton is probably the lowest profile genuine world champion we have...Who would you like to see Clinton in with to authenticate his standing?
For me it would have to be beating Chad Dawson or Zsolt Erdei (in Germany)....Beating RJJ, Tarver or Johnson proves nothing!

the dawson fight would be the best one.
someone like paul briggs would be a good scrap as well.

Danny Green wants a shot at him. Briggs probably does too. Are they just spending far too much time on Hatton at Clinton's expense? Damn shame.

Both Briggs and Green would be entertaining fights...But I don't think they would silence Clinton's critics...
I would have to agree with you Maussa although maybe its a TV thing!

The Calzaghe fight would've silenced Woods' critics. I can guarante Woods would've given him absolute life & death, though the Sheffield fighter would probably have lost a terrific fight.
I think he'd get a really good following if he'd fight more on ITV. Brits love plucky fighters who deliver the action. Clinton also has that hangdog look about him where you always feel a bit sorry for him. He's likeable, unpretentious and can fight. Perfect foil to the more surly and arrogant winner that is Calzaghe.
That would've been a great rivalry to put on ITV, and I half blame Hobson for wanting to put it on Sky PPV as much as Warren who doesn't deal with "the enemy."
Instead he has to face, what, one mandatory a year? Maybe the odd voluntary if Hobson can spare the time? Clinton has peaked and we should be seeing more of him.
Looks like he faces the winner of Glencafe - Gonzalez.

I wonder if Clinton will be slipping a bit after the pre-longed ring absense, which cant do him any good at his age. I'd like to see him get a big payday and a big fight. He deserves better than Woods-Johnson 4. Dawson, Jones (big money and will mean a little), Tarver, Calazage, Erdei (BUT NOT IN GERMANY)
