Well not exactly interesting as such but a few raised my eyebrows....

Paul Spadafora struggled to win a split decision over Oisin Fagan, Spadafora clearly has little left to offer, he has always been the epitomy of the hometown fighter in my eyes and his record flatters him greatly. Fagan is a bit of a circuit fighter, Spad was probably shedding rust to be fair but can't see him making any big noise on the world scene.

Talking of inflated records! Julio Cesar Chavez Jnr is going for the most padded slate of all time. He "improved" to 30-0-1 (23) with a third round KO of Raul Munoz.

And finally...Butterbean won in two rounds and on the undercard his son Brandon Esch won his pro debut in one round knocking out Matthew Eckerly. Anyone ever seen pictures of Esch Jnr?

I saw a picture of him and there's definitely a resemblance i.e. fat & bald.

Earlier, Esch's 21-year-old, 289 pound son Brandon "Babybean" Esch was knocked out cold at 2:00 of round one in his pro debut by Matt Eckerle, as the concerned senior 'Bean looked on. Babybean was down for about ten minutes as paramedics administered oxygen, but happily he walked out of the ring under his own power.

Nice to see that Butterbean came in at a nice and trim 417lbs.

Chavez Jnr is alright, I think the criticism of him is a bid unfair. The guy whom he drew against was better than any opponents that our prospects (Murray, Khan, Mitchell) has faced.

It just seems he has had so many fights and so much exposure and yet he doesn't seem to be going anywhere, maybe i am being unfair but he needs to step up soon.
