duke comparing kotelnik with alexis arguello was a good one.
i agree there having a bad one tonight.

Two classic ones in the last fight.
Duke McKenzie "That cut will not impair his vision".
Jim Rosenthal "Credit to Micky Vann for letting the fight go one".... To be fair, I know Jim was refering to the awful cut affecting Simpson - but Vann bottled it - Matthews should have been DQ'd.

McKenzie automatically assuming that if a point is deducted for a foul it makes it a 10-8 round. The 6th I made a 10-9 round for Simpson and the 9th a 9-9 round.

He really has to go.... John Rawling was excellent today I thought, but Duke was appauling. I noticed that - although I did think Simpson won the rounds. But he does it every time.

Oh yes, sometimes his ITV commentary looks better next to his BBC ones.
"Jim, Jim this could be the greatest upset in the history of boxing". - said on many occasions - Mayorga vs Forrest 1, RJJ vs Tarver 1 to name but a few.
