Advice needed for hand/knuckle injuries...

Was hoping anyone could give me some info with regards to vitamins/supplements that could help improve ligament/tissue damage.

I've been having problems with my knuckles now for sometime and have been having physio (laser, ultrasound, exercises, massage etc etc)

I had an M.R.I scan around a year ago but nothing came out of it, but the problem still persists ( pain in knuckle area (index knuckle) and swells bad after punching )

Just wondered if anyone could recommend any supplements that might help me, Ive been using Glucostamine sulphate, but have been told they wouldn't help a great deal.

Any replies would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I am not sure if it quite applicable - but Calcium is what is needed to help strengthen the bones and joints.

Glucosamine, MSM, Chrondoitin they all rejuvinate joint tissue. Also use ice on them when they swell. One technique is to ice your hand for 30mins, put your hands in very hot water for 15mins followed by icing for another 30mins and so forth. Look after your hands wrapp them really well. LASTLY don't punch with them until they are better otherwise you'll make them worse and they won't recover. Shadowbox until they are beter. Don't use Calcium supplements they will do little for you if you already have adequate.

Also it could be your not punching properly - your fist shape/tightness, wrist properly supporting your hand, punches been too wild/eratic

If you want a good deal on some MSM or any other supplements pm me.

Thanks guys,
I've posted this on current scene and was advised to see an acupunturist, does anyone have any experience with regards to this kind of therapy?
Or has anyone used acupunture in the past?

King Regards!

Phenominals correct good stuff. But your problem could be furher up the line, Tendons below the elbow are worth having a look at.
