How many more bouts for Hatton?

Just before the Urango fight, Billy Graham said "three more fights for Ricky, then he'll probably retire."
If so, then that means Castillo in June, followed by one fight afterwards. Can we really see Ricky retiring at that stage, so soon? I very much doubt it.
Ricky will be 29 later this year & I think he'll finish as a pro by the time he 31. Who knows though, it could be sooner? You never know what's going to happen.
What sort of prediction would you say in terms of how many fights left for Ricky?

It probably depends on the result of the JLC fight, if he wins impressively the clamour for Hatton Mayweather will be HUGE, and would be a potentially massive payday for both men. If he loses or is not convincing I doubt he'd carry on much longer. His fighting style, the fact he cuts a lot and the weight gain between fights always meant it would be a relatively short career IMO.

He has 2 or 3 tough fights left in him, he could choose to fight easy competition like he use to (past there prime hasbeens or padded record no hopers) and defend like Calzaghe has done, but i think they want big fights, and castilio and one more tough fight after that will probably be all he has left, before he burns out!

They'll continue until he loses or theres too many tough challengers without any big pay days

I agree with this... if Mayweather loses to de la hoya and hatton wins the castillo fight they propperly go after each other. And that would be hes last fight.

I agree with this... if Mayweather loses to de la hoya and hatton wins the castillo fight they propperly go after each other. And that would be hes last fight.
At what weight? 154 Hatton would never take that. 147 De La Hoya couldn't make it.

end of 2008 is my retirement prediction.
perhaps a homecoming fight in manchester and an announcement to the crowd at the end.

I'd happily take a thrashing for $10mil+..!
I think Ricky has 3 fights (if he keeps taking the big, tough fights) left in him but you never know what might transpire... He may think he's to young to retire and we know Professional boxers are notorious for not retiring when they should.
