I seen this bout listed in a major boxing book published in 1987 as a title defense of Jack Johnson.
However I later read where it was boxer vrs wrestler.
Anyway the bout occured November.28.1913 in Paris France.
Lasted only 2 rounds.
I heard that Johnson's arm was broken though as a result.
My question is,was this bout filmed?(one would think so in the land of Melies)
if so has it been preserved?
I also read that a riot ensued at the auditorium after it.

Yeah, Johnson knocked out Sproul, who was a wrestler, and the riot ensused afterwards. Johnson would also later have a wrestling match with some other Frenchman, but would lose the first two falls.
