Zoltan Kiss Jr sunk again

I always enjoy keeping an eye on some of the crazier boxing wonders. One of them is Zoltan "The poor man's ZAP" Kiss Jnr. The guy has a horrifically padded record. In his first 8 fights, he had drawn with guys who were 2-7-1 and 1-6 these could even have been hometown decisions.

In any case, we can kind of guess his level. However, on he battles and paddles. His backers (he is apparently managed by Krisztina Belinszky) deem it worthy to keep on getting him those wins, heading nowhere, but nevertheless selling tickets. I guess.

But then...BANG! In November his bid for the IBU I/C title is ended when he is crushed by his co-challenger, Artem Solomko (5-13,) who had previously never scored a KO.

However, it was a TKO, so maybe it was a freak injury or something? Well tonight, sadly, it seems this is not the case, as Zoltan was stopped in his tracks by Stefan Stanko (4-49-1) who admittedly had won all his previous fights by KO.

Little else to say really, other than tonight may sadly mark the end of Zoltan Kiss Jnr's bid to become a boxing superstar :(

Ah. That may explain it. :TU: If It's any consolation Zoltan, you've done better with the ladies than with the boxing career. (there's a joke to be made about rings here, with varying levels of purility, but I don't think I'll bother.)

Things are not getting any better for Zoltan. He lost inside a round to 1-17 Titusz Szabo at the weekend, which seems to suggest next month's fight with 0-19 Szabolcs Gergely might not be a forgone conclusion.
