Couldn't agree more, but I think he has some legal problems hanging over him, hence the globetrotting.

Because he felt his original opponent Jevgenis Stamburskis (2-6) was too weak, former WBO heavyweight champion Herbie Hide (36-4, 35 KOs), now campaigning as a cruiserweight, asked promoter Ahmet Öner for a new, stronger opponent. Öner has obliged and brought in Ali Saidi (16-9-4) to face the 35-year-old Hide on Saturday in the Alsterdorfer Sporthalle in Hamburg. Hide, who now has his BDB boxing license, stated "Saidi should call the police because I am the bad boy who will knock him out on Saturday."

Herbie talks the talk, but its beens some time since he has
shown good signs of walking the walk.

Cruiserweight may be his last chance, but he should be
jumping straight in with the big boys to be honest, or
atleast a Hobson level fighter in a warm up.

I like Herbie Hide. He's exciting to watch, at least you know someones likely to get flattened, either Hide or his opponent. Hide had all the tools to be a decent fighter, apart from maybe the most important atribute a decent chin. He can certainly punch though and was very quick, always a dangerous combination. Riddick Bowe still rates Hide as the hardest puncher he fought and his 35kos in 36 wins tends to suggest Bowe may be telling the truth.

You never know at cruiserweight Hide may be a surprise to us all.

Former WBO heavyweight champion Herbie Hide (37-4, 36 KOs) needed just 155 seconds to demolish Valery Semishkur (16-18-1) in a cruiserweight bout. "Call the police!," said Hide afterward. "I'll get it on with Virgil Hill, Henry Maske and Marco Huck in one afternoon!"

Ha Ha the Herbster is back at it again. Maybe a fight with Huck wouldn't be so bad. But let's see Huck in with Tokarev first.

Haye vs Hide my god that would be a grate fight... think Haye would do him though he just seems sharper particularly recently his jab looks grate just right for Hide.

Hides back! Too bad Lewis isn't still around, so Herbie could KO him in one round!!

Maybe I'm drinking some funny juice, cause I could see Hide roughing Haye up. Mainly because Herbie has less to fear, having fought a few huge men like Bowe, Tucker and Klitschko.

If Haye lands anything decent - and doesn't step back, it's all over. But I wonder if he could avoid being intimidated into a safety zone? He's probably too old now, but Hide might've been the Tyson of cruiserweight years ago, using fear and aggression as a winning tactic.

Haye is hardly Mr Confidence when the going gets tough. Hide is not a foregone loser v Haye. Haye would struggle to plant one on Herbs & if he hits Haye back... Remember Hide has mixed in with world class. The only one of his victims to survive was freakishly hard skulled Bigfoot Martin.

I dunno why but I was intruiged by the idea of a BAD wet t-shirt contest entrant and so I checked out the image you were referring to..

...needless to say I nearly lost my dinner.

Crikey, he's shed a lot of muscle hasn't he!

Will be interesting to see how well he does at 200, he may still be good enough to win a title in the current division, how well are the current crop of cruiserweights going to take his punch power?
