I think this is a very tough one to call, but what do you fight fans think?

Interesting matchup, where you have a pogo stick pitted against a fighter who doesn't waste much movement. Herky Jerky against Butter. I think both fighters will have their moments, & I don't envision a knockout from either. I think it would come down to whether Jose could cut him off in the ring consistently enough. Then again.... maybe the Nose was too big/strong for Jose?

I can picture an affair similar to what Rodriguez went through with Emile, if they had a trilogy or more. Razor close decisions.

Rodriguez is unfortunately forgotten a bit in the welterweight hierarchy, but he certainly would be a worthy opponent for ANY 147 fighter.

Napoles got the sh*t kicked out of him by middleweight Carlos Monzon.

Napoles "win" over Griffith is phony; Griffith was unable to make the welterweight limit for a number of years before a weakened Griffith made the weight of 147 for his fight with Napoles.
Napoles wouldn't fight unless Griffith made that weight which he had abandoned long earlier.

For me, Luis Rodriquez' most impressive win was his stoppage of Denny Moyer.

First point of order....There is no kicking in boxing so that statement is false

Secondly...to be beaten by the very best MW of all time may not be a great deficit.

Thirdly....well I don't have a third point but I wanted to type a bit more here just to be in on the conversation.
